23. Chapter 23
I woke up in Kai's bed alone. I sat up and looked around for her. But she wasn't in her room. "KAI!" I yelled. But she didn't answer. I got up and ran into Liam's bedroom. He was in his bed fast asleep. I ran through out the house calling for her but she wouldn't answer. Where was she?!
"Haz what's the matter?!" Louis asked running to me.
"KAI'S GONE!" I yelled. I grabbed my hair and breathed deeply over and over again.
"Harry calm down we'll find her alright?" Liam said, turns out he'd been eavesdropping. "Maybe she went for a walk!" He said. But when we went to the backyard she wasn't anywhere.
I ran into the little library we had thinking that maybe she was in there. I looked around and didn't see her there either. But something caught my eyes. I looked over and saw a note sitting on a book. I sprinted to it and picked it up. The title of the book read 'My Captivator'. I took the note out of it and read it.
Don't worry about where I am. By the time you get this nite I'll be at home with my family. I've never been very good at goodbyes therefore I just couldn't bare giving one to you. I'm sorry, but I called a taxi and left when you all fell asleep. I'll miss you and this book. This book has taught me a lot throughout the months I've been with you boys. It's taught me how to stand up for myself and how to hold my tongue when I'm angry. It's taught me how anyone can fall in love, even the most murderous of humans. But something else it's taught me is that not every story has a happy ending. I'm sorry Harry, I truly am. I'll miss you and the boys. Tell Louis that I'll miss falling into his arms all the time haha, and tell Zayn and Niall there are no truer friends than them. And please tell Liam, he's the closest thing I've ever had to an older brother. I'll miss you all.
P.s. Thanks for letting me borrow this book.
