*Three Months Later*
I laid stretched out on the couch flipping through the T.V channels when I heard the front door open. I lifted my head slightly above the rim of the couch to see Harry holding bags in his hands. I got up and helped him out. I looked through the bags to see baby things. I chuckled and he blushed a bit. In another bag there was a bunch of party things. I totally forgot about the baby shower! Crap! Well at least I have Harry here to remind me.
"You forgot didn't you..." He mumbled.
"No!" I lied. He chuckled shaking his head. I grabbed the party supplies out of the bags and started flipping through them. He was about to head back out but I grabbed his hand. "Please help...I have no idea what I'm doing..." He laughed and smiled at me.
He helped me put everything together just in time. Reanne came home with her big tummy leading the way. I had already called some of her friends to join us. Harry gave me a hug before slipping out before everyone got here.
"This is wonderful Brie..." She sniffled. Pregnant hormones...hope I never have to go through that...
The party lasted a few hours and by the end of it I was beyond tired. I just wanted to sleep. Reanne ended up going with one of her pregnant friends leaving me to clean up all by myself. Of course I wasn't exactly thrilled about it but it had to be done. I was just about to give up when I heard the door open. I looked up to see Harry holding a Mcdonalds bag. He handed it to me and I smiled widely. I started munching on the food as he chuckled.
I don't exactly know how we got so close these last few months but it happened. It's like the Harry that was so horrible back at the apartment building is gone now. Maybe that part of him died with Louis. I actually hated to think about Lou's death. I knew not to bring it up around Harry either because he always became really depressed. I let out a huge sigh before allowing my head to drop onto the counter. He lifted my head up with his hand and looked at me with worried eyes. Then I felt this stinging feeling coming from my forehead and realized I just cut myself. I groaned as he chuckled. He grabbed a cloth and started dabbing my forehead. I groaned in pain. He smiled softly before putting a band aid on it.
I heard a knock at the door so I jumped out of my seat to open it. When I did I felt little arms attack my leg. I looked down to see little Mia hugging my leg. This is the first time that Harry and Mia are going to meet. I lifted her into my arms and stepped aside letting Eleanor inside. Her eyes widened when she saw Harry.
"Hey Mia I want you to meet your uncle Harry." I said bringing her closer to Harry. He was very tense but as soon as she wrapped her tiny arms around his neck he relaxed taking her into his arms. I smiled at him as he held her gently. "What's up El?" I turned my attention back to her as I took a seat.
"I thought I'd stop by but I didn't realize you'd have company. I'm sorry if we interrupted.." She mumbled.
"W-what?!" My face burned as I understood what she meant. "N-no...." I laughed awkwardly. Harry sat there with Mia in his arms with a cocky grin plastered on his face.
"There's nothing going on between you two?" Eleanor asked as we took a step outside.
"Oh heavens no." I chuckled.
"But you two seem to be hanging out a lot more and you talk about him a lot more..."
"Do I?" I questioned.
"Yeah so I naturally thought that you guys had feelings for each other.."
"I doubt that'll ever happen." I laughed. "Not with our history."
"I think people can change just because of love." She smiled softly.
