*Thirty Minutes Later*
"Hello Zack," I greet him.
"Good day Rosa," Zack gives a quick smile. "Did your father tell you I have some news for you?"
"He did. And I want to know it now."
"You'll like it. I'm leaving."
"Really?" I smile. "I mean, ah, too bad."
"Good try. I'm leaving because I met someone at that ball. She actually would love to marry me and I kind of want to marry her as well. It's better than trying to get with you and failing."
"I'm glad you found someone."
"I am glad you now get to be with someone you love. Have a good life Rosa. Maybe one day we'll met again."
*A Few Hours Later*
"What do you need to tell me dear?" Mother asks.
"I'm in love," I say.
"With who? Please don't say Zack, he's leaving you for some other girl."
"It's not him mom. It's, um, well. It is Mason my personal servant. We're in love and I need you to tell Father. He'll listen to you. I don't care if Mason is a servant. He's the best guy for me."
Mother smiles, "I'll tell him Rosa. I will make sure you two get together. Now, go tell him the good news. He deserves to know."
I smile back, "I will. Thank you so much Mother."
*An Hour Later*
"He's leaving?" Mason asks again.
"Yes," I answer yet again.
"We'll be able to finally be together?"
"And you finished your studies."
I laugh, "Yup."
"Then tomorrow we're going into town to celebrate quite a few things."
I wrap my arms around Mason in a hug, "I love you Mason. Things are finally working out for us. No more hiding. We are going to live how a normal couple would."
"Sounds good to me," he holds me out by my shoulders. "I love you Rosa." Then he crashes his lips onto mine. He's really mine now. We can now kiss whenever and in front of whoever we want. Life is going good.
