*A Few Days Later*
It's been interesting have Mason as my servant. He's always there for me in seconds and very polite.
"Mason?" I'm walking through the house trying to fine Mason.
"Yes ma'am," his voice fills my ears.
I spin around and face him. "I've been looking for you."
"I was in the restroom. I'm sorry."
My face heats up, "No, no reason to be sorry. I was just wondering if you'd like to dine with me. My parents like to dine together at lunch and I don't have anyone."
"Oh, I'd love to dine with you."
"Would you really? You're not just being my servant, are you?"
"Well, I am, but I want to dine with you as a friend."
I smile, "Alright then. Let's go get lunch."
I'm getting ready for bed; I just put on my nightgown, and Mason walks in.
"Do you need anything before I head to bed, ma'am."
"No thank you."
"Then I'll go," he turns and starts to walk out.
Something in me doesn't want him to leave. I need to tell him how I feel. It's eating me inside. "Wait. Close the door. I have to tell you something."
"Yes ma'am," he does as I say and then looks at me.
"Mason, there's something wrong. I like you, and I shouldn't like you. It's wrong."
"Well ma'am, I think you're very beautiful," his face becomes a deep red.
"No, no, no. This is like....forbidden love. Just like the book I'm reading that my tutor does not approve. It will never work out."
"But ma'am. Anything can happen."
I grab him by the forearms and look him dead in the eye. "You're crazy."
"Am I?" he smirks before giving me a quick kiss.
"You are," I smile and put my arms around his neck. He puts his hands on my waist. Then I give a quick kiss back. "This is so wrong. My date would hate you and fire you if he knew. But I don't care because he won't find out. He doesn't pay enough attention. No matter what I'll get with you."
"You don't get out much do you? I'm you first love and first bad doing."
"Yeah. Is it bad to fall in love to fast?"
"Not at all ma'am. I promise not to leave you if you promise not to leave me."
"I promise. Even if it feels too much like a bedtime story my mother used to tell me."
"It does, but stranger things have happened to me."
"I should get to bed, Mason. I'll see you tomorrow."
I know they fell in love probably too fast, but this story has a fast plot line. Yet slow plot line. Love is the base.
