*The Next Day*
"Don't peek," Mason says and I can hear the smile in his voice.
"I won't," I smile. "It's a nice day out."
"That it is," he pulls me to a stop. "Okay, open your eyes."
I slowly open my eyes, and smile at what I see. The front of my house now has tons of flowers and other plants. "Did you do the landscape?"
"I did. Do you like it?"
"I love it. It's so beautiful."
"Rosa! I know you're out here!" Zack's voice fills my ears.
"Hold on. I'll be right back. Let me just lead him away from here."
"Don't keep me waiting for too long," Mason smiles.
I give him a quick kiss, "I wouldn't think of it." Then I turn and rush off towards where I heard Zack.
"There you are," Zack smiles when I walk up to him. He was waiting for me at the side of my parents' house. I've officially moved out and will only be in their house for meals.
"What do you want?" I snap.
"First off, I want you. I also want to know why you moved out of the house."
"Because I wanted just a little more freedom. And I wanted to be just a little farther away from you."
"Come on babe," he steps closer to me.
"Don't call me that."
"I'll call you whatever I want," he takes a few more steps closer to me and grabs my waist.
"Let go off me."
"After a kiss."
"Never. I don't want to kiss you."
"I know that. You want to kiss that servant boy."
"His name is Mason and he's more than a servant."
"Go to him then," he pushes me away. "But you will be mine."
I roll my eyes, turn away from him, and then start running back to Mason. It doesn't take me long to reach him and jump into his arms.
"What's wrong babe?" Mason asks.
I giggle, "You called me babe. And nothing."
"Yeah. Let's head inside."
"Alright," he picks me up and gets us inside. Then he heads to the living room and plops me down on the couch. Before sitting down by me and me cuddling into him.
"Do you love me?"
"That's out of the blue."
"I do. I've loved you since we shared that first kiss."
"I love you too," I smile. "It's weird that from the second I saw you I knew I was falling in love."
He kisses the top of my head. "When are you going to tell your dad of us?"
"I'm going to tell my mom first. Get her on my side so we can tell my father together. I want to marry you and not Zack so much."
"I want to marry you too ma'am."
"You know, I have a real name. Can you please use it?"
I smile, "Thanks. Once we do tell my father of us, we'll be able to live here in peace. Not worrying about anything."
"I'd like that. But what about Emilia?"
"She can move in here with us. If that's alright."
"That's fine. I almost forgot I promised to take you into town one day."
"How about in a few days? Or, once I finish my studies?"
"After you finish your studies. It can be like a little celebration."
"That sounds great," I yawn.
"Are you tired babe?"
"Just a little."
"Let's go to your room then and take a nap."
"That sounds so nice."
It takes a few minutes for us to get to my room and get into my bed.
"Never leave me," I sigh as I snuggle into Mason's side.
"I wouldn't even think about it," he wraps his arms around me and kisses my temple. "Wouldn't even think about it."
