2. Chapter Two
"You deserve it you little bitch." She snarled at me. I watched her smash her beer bottle and jab at me. She hit me in the legs and arms because I curled up for protection. I awaited another blow but it never came. When I looked up, I saw him standing there pinning my pissed mother to the wall. He pushed her again as he let her go and let her walk out of the room. He turned to me and picked me up. When he set me down, I was in my bed.
"How did you get here?" I asked quietly.
"That doesn't matter. I have something to do." He ran his fingers over the cuts on my legs gently and I felt a tingling sensation. He did the same thing with the cuts on my arms and I got the same feeling. I looked at him when he finished and gasped at him. I stood up and backed up to my window with him walking towards me. I don't know if I should be calm or scared. "Don't be scared, love. I'm not going to hurt you. I want to help you." My back hit the wall and he was standing directly in front of me.
"W-Who are you?"
"My name is Louis." He stroked my cheek with his hand and smiled at me.
"Emma-Rose!!! You better get your ass down here this instant you bitch!!!" Louis turned around with his back to me and stepped back so he was completely in front of me to protect me. I put my hands on his shoulders and stood on my toes to look over his shoulder. I saw my mom burst through the door and give her famous death glare to Louis. I held on tightly to him as I hid behind him. "Where is my daughter?"
"She's here but I won't let you hurt her."
"No." I felt someone pull Louis away from me and came face to face with my mom. She went to grab my neck when I ran to Louis. He wrapped his arms around me and I buried my head into his chest as my mom walked out of the room.
"She's gone, love. She's gone." I was stroking her back and repeating to her that her mother was gone.
"No she isn't." I heard a bang right before I felt something running down my back. I put a hand to my back and looked at my hand to see blood on it. She shot me.
