"Did you?!" Ron grounded out, making his way towards us, red faced from his anger.
"No! I was JOKING! But, Mione had always been this beautiful." Harry said, making me blush.
"Thanks." I murmured.
He smiled and winked at me.
"You seem chipper..." I remarked.
"Mr. Weasley just gave me his blessing." He answered giddily.
"He did?! THAT'S WONDERFUL!! Are you going back with Ginny this year then?" I asked.
"WHAT blessing?!" Ron demanded.
"To marry Ginny, or rather, ask for her hand to marry her. And, I planned on it. But, McGonnagal offered me the Defense Against the Dark Arts position. So, I was thinking about that too... And if we got married before term starts, we wouldn't be breaking any regulations." Harry said.
I was happy for him. While Ron... Ron was stuttering, shaking, and his eyes were rolling around on his head. I guess he's a little...upset.
"Harry! That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you! Ron! You're NOT Ginny's father. YOU don't have a say in anything! So stop being a total git and accept it!" I snapped.
Ron stopped and nodded his head submissively.
"So, have you decided in your job offer yet, Hermy?" Harry asked, trying to change the topic.
"Well... I'd absolutely LOVE to teach Transfiguration...but, I'm not certain that I should do it, without finishing my schooling." I fretted anxiously.
"Hermione. Jean. Granger! You will take that job if I have to sign those papers myself!" Came a shrill voice, reminiscent of that of Mrs. Weasley's from behind me.
I flinched inwardly. It was Ginny... Wonderful.
"Hi, Ginny." I sighed.
"Here're the papers. You'll sign them right now." She said with authority.
I took them and gave then a glance, not bothering to read them (as I already have) and then glanced over at Ginny and the boys, then I made a run for it.
I heard a deep sigh and then feet pounding after me. I giggled.
"Maybe I WON'T sign them!"
"Oh yes you will!!" Ginny screeched out from behind me as we ran.
She was closer than I had thought. I darted out through the back door, and ran to the hedges, hoping she couldn't find me.
She came pelting out IST two seconds after me. And, the first place she checked was the chicken coop! What dumb luck!
I ran out, making as little noise as possible and ran back inside. She'd be out there for hours before she realized it! HAHAHA!
I went to the room I shared with Ginny and got a quill and some ink. I decided to sign the papers. There, now I was a certified teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
