Ashton gave me a shocked look as I stormed past him and got into Seth's passenger seat.
"What's he doing here?" Seth asked, looked at a frustrated Ashton who was currently running his hands through his hair.
"Nothing, he was just looking for Luke." I replied, moving the seat belt out of my way to be more comfortable.
"So, where are we going?" I asked as we pulled out of the driveway.
"Ok, get this. I know a guy who works security at this club, and he set me up with this amazing deal. We get in for free, and the bartender won't even ID us. Then later I figured we could get high and you could spend the night at my place." He told me, sounding completely serious.
"You're kidding?" I laughed.
"Yeah I'm just fucking with ya. We're going to my super secret hang out."
I couldn't help but laugh at his choice of words.
"Super secret hang out?" I giggled.
He turned his attention to me and laughed.
"I'm being completely serious. But you can't tell anyone about it." He winked.
I nodded my head and smiled. After about 15 minutes of talking while Seth drove, he pulled up beside a hill that lead to a large oak tree.
"So this is your super secret hang out?" I asked, taking in the scenery.
It was about half an hour before sunset, but the sky turned a dull pink- orange colour. Waves crashed against the other half of the hill, that dipped down to a cliff. There was an old fur blanket placed beside the tree with a basket on top. Sitting beside the basket was a 6 pack of beer and a bottle of champagne.
"Oh how fancy." I cooed, sitting down on the blanket.
Seth laughed and sat beside me, taking out a bag of chips from the basket. He laid back, propping one head up with his right arm and using the other to pile chips into his mouth.
"Okay, so I feel like I don't know you all that well. Sure we've talked but that was only when I was hanging with Luke and the guys. I want to play 21 questions to get to know you better."
I had a grin plastered on my face and I nodded my head and spoke up. "Me first. How did you meet Luke?"
He smiled to himself thinking. "Okay so back in my 8th year, I was a total outcast. I guess Luke fit in with the popular crowd and I was like some weird emo kid with piercings in grade 8. But anyways, I decided to take Glee because on of my lady friends tricked me into it. I guess Luke had that class too, because when we were picking year end songs, Luke suggested a Nirvana song. Come as you are, actually. People were giving him these weird looks and I was one of the only ones to vote for it. We started talking and figured out we were into the same type of music. We've been pretty close since then. Alright now my turn. What is your favourite movie genre and why?"
"Ha that's pretty cool. I would have to say Fantasy or Anime. Why? Because in Fantasy's, you can become some weird ass monster and devour your enemies and Anime is fucking killer. You can do whatever the fuck you want with them. Now, what's your favourite colour?"
He laughed at my comment and answered. "Black. The colour of my soul."
I smacked him on the arm and we started laughing.
"Okay no, it's actually blue. Favourite movie?" He asked.
"All of the Harry Potter movies obviously. Favourite animal?"
We continued to laugh at each others answers and drink the beer and champagne in front of us. We watched the sunset until it got dark and he decided to take me home.
I was feeling nauseous and fumbled into the passengers seat. I noticed Seth swaying a little as he started the engine but continued to ignore it.
"Why the hell is she going on a date with him?" I yelled, causing Michael to sigh.
"Well maybe it's because you fucked around with her, then broke her heart and went to Grace." Deuce yelled.
I chose to ignore her words as I paced around Calum's home.
"Just sit down and take a breath. They won't last long anyways." Michael tried to reassure me.
My body tensed when I saw headlights zoom past, noticing that truck right away.
"Why the hell are they going so fast?" Luke asked, obviously panicked.
Deuce flew the front door open as soon as we heard the crash. The red Chevy they were in was smashed into a tree about a block down. I ran full speed towards the car just as a terrified Seth hobbled out of the drivers seat.
"Shit. Ash. I don't think Whi-." I cut him off with a punch square in the jaw.
"Ashton!" Deuce yelled, pulling my arm away.
Seth fell to the ground and I was about to kick him when I heard Luke's panicked voice.
"Ash! She's not breathing! There's too much blood! Someone call an ambulance!"
I looked over to see Whisper being pulled out of the truck, her body looking pale and weak. A piece of glass was stuck deep in her upper stomach and blood pooled out of her onto Luke.
Deuce started to cry as she pulled out a shaking hand, fumbling with the phone.
"H-hello. This is Deuce Sparks. My friend has just been in an accident and she's not breathing. 48 Sherbet Lane. Ok. Y-yes. Alright." She hung up the phone and walked over to Luke.
"We have to get her to breath!" Michael yelled, pacing back and forth.
I felt hot tears rush down my cheek as I looked at her. Luke hand his hands placed firmly on her chest, as he cursed out loud. He brought his hands up then furiously pushed back down.
I moved him out of the way and pressed my mouth to her cold frail lips.
"Don't die on me." I whispered, blowing air into her mouth.
I continued to do so, while taking over Luke's previous actions. Soon she started to give off faint breaths but I knew they were weak. I held her as I cried until the ambulance showed up. They hooked her up to a machine in the vehicle and took Seth, Luke, Deuce and I with her to the hospital. Her breathing steadied, but she still looked pale and in bad condition.
When we got to the hospital Whisper's sister, step mom, and dad were all in the waiting room looking as bad as I felt. They started to cry when they saw Luke and I covered in Whisper's blood, but they pulled us into a hug anyways.
"She'll be alright. It'll be ok." Ty soothed, rubbing Luke's back.
I can only hope.
Soooooooo I know it's been a few months and all, but I am getting my life back together and I am going to finish this story soon.
