Small Things

Poetry, what else?

16. Untitled

* This poem is called 'Untitled' because there is nothing in particular that is being described which makes it harder to name it. Whatever you are made to think of after reading this poem should be the name that you give it. *

Pouring from the skies,

Catching it in buckets

Calling out for more

To be sent straight from the kitchen.

A desire to fill the buckets

With this new found virtue;

Rarely is it seen it,

Hence the rush for capture.

Claim it, claim it

Of course there's a need for haste.

Never a more urgent time

Have we seen before.

Glistening and shimmering,

Caught by rays of sun,

Light refracts to form a rainbow,

Glory from above.

Angelic voices cry upwards

To thank for the gift

Our livelihood may soon depend on it

If heaven does forbid.
