"I'm sorry I went out with Tiffany, okay? I was just so angry and I never knew what to do. I felt like something was missing, someone to love," I stopped.
"But why her, Bryce. She hurt me so bad in life, tried to ruin me and Niall, god only knows what she'll do with my friends or Alice and Rosalie. I'm really mad at you Bryce, no not mad, disappointed." Those words stung like a bee. You would think that anger felt so much worse, but it's disappointment that kills inside.
"Please, please just forgive me though, I need my best friend back. Please," I plead once again. Cyrah's face pulls into a faint smile and she nods her head just enough for me to see. I get up from the dining room table and hug her, regretting all I ever did with Tiffany. She ruined, well, I ruined a bit of my life.
I knock on Cyrahs door and wait for it to be answered as I wait with Angel and Jake on the porch. Instead of waiting patiently, Angel decides to knock on the door with the side of her fist, amking a louder noise and yelling, "C'mon douche canoes, open the fucking door!"
"Smooth and classy," I say sarcastically.
"Shut up Zack," Angel spits back with a laugh.
Niall gets the door and lets us in, acknowledging Angel's subtle greeting. Gee, I wonder what his neighbors will think. Neighbors within the two mile radius that is. The guys have a lot of land and not many neighbors. You can see the scattered house from the living room window though, which is good.
I take off my shoes and set them near the door and make my way to be seated downstairs. I'm surprised by a little white cat with a black stripe running down it's head, that's rubbing up against by leg.
"Aww!" Jake swoons over the cat and how it loves me. "What's his name!"
"Troll," Niall responds. "He's a troublemaker." I laugh at the little cat's name, he must belong to Liam.
Holy mother of sausages! I am in the dreamland of beautiful young men. One Direction, I mean, are you kidding me? Zack is such a great friend for tagging me along to meet his friends. I can't really speak accept for 'awwing' over the cat and that makes Zack and Niall laugh a little. I swing my black and yellow raincoat over my shoulder and follow Zack and Angel downstairs. I'm introduced to a series of boys; Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Liam. A girl with ombre hair walks into the room and sits next to two little girls on the chesterfield.
"Who are these little apple-cinnamon-sweethearts?" I ask with a cheery tone in my voice.
"The blonde is Rosalie and the brownie is Alice," Says the ombre haired girl. "And I am Cyrah, Niall's fiancé." I reach out my hand to Cyrah and she takes it with no hesitation.
"Hey, who's the colored guy?" Asks a male voice from behind me. My jaw must drop because this boy is so fucking cute! No, scratch cute, smoking hot! I don't answer in time so the boy asks again and my eyes stay glued to him, tracing his every detail with delicate precision.
"I'm Jake!" I gush. "Who're you?"
"Bryce, and what are you looking at?" He asks. Oh shit, what the hell am I going to say? I can't just say, 'Oh, I'm observing your crotch! It's so nice!' I have to come up with something and thank god I find something.
"I'm watching the game," I answer, pointing to the game of XBOX call of duty being played by Zayn, Harry, and Louis. I can't help but notice how Angel goes straight to Louis and pecks his cheek. Dammit, they're a thing. Mental note, mark Louis and Niall off my list.
"Guys, Jake here should probably tell you something about himself," Zack urges.
"Oh, um, yeah!" I breath deeply. "I am gay, and I love each of you!"
A smile quickly becomes Liam's face and I blush. I know he's not like me, but he's still absolutely b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! I flip my hair away from my eyes and go about my night.
It feels good to have all my friends with me, feels warmer, feels like home. I just wish Brigid was here so we could all hang out. I sigh at my train of thought and go to the kitchen to get some chips.
Opening the cupboard, I try to choose what flavor. Ketchup, dill, sour cream and bacon, or Doritos cool ranch. I grab the Doritos without a second thought and pour the bag into a stainless steel bowl and pop one into my mouth. I begin to make my way downstairs when my phone rings.
I apologize about last night,
I really did not mean to disresp-
"Hey baby, what're you doing?"
"Tiff, can you leave me alone for once?" I plead, scowling to myself.
"I wanted to know where Bryceykinz was. Is he with you?"
"As a matter of fact, yes. He moved to England. So, stop talking to me," I say through gritted teeth. Obviously she's been thinking about Bryce and playing dumb; she knows he's here.
"Well, I just want to speak to him, Alice, and Rose-." I hung up on her, no need for my night to be trashed.
I put the chips on the table and watch as everyone races to it, taking a handful each. I'm surprised there was enough actually. My phone rings again.
"What?" I bellow.
"Cyrah? Are you ok?" Asks a familiar voice.
"Brigid? Yeah, I'm fine. Are you?"
"No. I need your help."
