I had a horrible night, I had the worst dream. I can't tell anyone, Mother and Father would ask nutty, cringe worthy questions, and Joy would just laugh.
I'v gone off jelly by the way, which is favorite food. Well, was. I haven't eaten it in an age, and I don't think I will ever again. It was because of the nightmare, annnd I dont wanna go into that. Have to finish off now, I got school. Life has become a lot more interesting when you have hope to see someone. I'm hinting about Finn Logan, but you already know that.
Walking into my bathroom, I look out the window thick with condensation. Morning had just peaked outside,so the world was a light pink, laced with blue and yellow. I stare at my pudgy face in the mirror, brushing my lank mousy colored hair. I tried it in different styles, a high pony tail.
No. A bun?
I try a new style, braiding it across my head. Looking at it in the mirror, I slightly praise my work. I can barely put up with my brittle mousy hair. It wasn't always brittle, it used to look some-what shiny. But that was the past. I don't look terrible now, I'm skinnier.
Getting into a loosely fitting black shirt and track pants, I head out the door. With my backpack bumping heavily on my back, I stare across the road, trying to find Finn.
No luck, unfortunately. With a shaky sigh, I head to my bus stop. Sitting down, I grab a battered old copy of Pride of Shadows, my favorite.
"Pride of Shadows? Didn't know you read Taylor Hope!" His voice made me jump high into the air, gasping a little. Tearing my eyes away from Starlight Shadows, I saw the smirk of Finn . Allowing myself a small smile, I give him a tiny wave.
"My, um favorite story, actually." I manage to stutter out. Finn sits down beside me, grabbing my book. Rolling up his denim shirt sleeves, he reads out.
"Pride of Shadows, by Ian Von Holt." He mocks a deeply posh accent, so I have to stifle a giggle.
"Gosh this seems extremely interesting already Taylor Hope, you must seriously consider lending me this book." I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or serious, so I'm left with an awkward silence. Finally, I manage to stutter,
"Taylor. I don't go by Taylor Hope." I can feel my cheeks go red, but Finn dosen't seem to notice.
Seeing the cheesy yellow bus arrive in the corner of my eye, I stand up and give Finn another wave.
"I'll see you around then?" Finn Logan's eye's grow wide.
"What, I'm pretty sure I go on this bus as well, as far as I'm concerned I have been going to this school for... Two days now! How did you not realize I was here!"
He rushes onto the bus beside me, plopping down on the seat next to me.
"We have A LOT to catch up on Taylor Hope. Please, indulge me with your life." He smile's at me, showing his perfectly straight teeth.
"First, what is..." Before he can continue though, the bus lurches to a stop, and a bunch of people clamber on noisily. Looking back, I see an empty space where Finn sat.
"Hey pretty boy." Sarah had yanked him upwards, her eyelashes fluttering "seductively" She just looks like a retarded butterfly in my opinion.
"You obviously don't know ski... Taylor, enough to sit with her, she is a serious dork." Finn raises his perfect eyebrows at me, and my heart sinks.
So much for a new friend...
"Well I'm really sorry Taylor Hope," Finn starts, and I can SEE the malicious gleam in Sarahs evil, green eyes.
"But alas, I have a special fondness for 'dorks' and must sit with you, I'll see you around... Sarah right?" He gives Sarah an adorable halfsmile, and she smiles back, but her eyes are sneering at me.
This isn't over you skinny pig.
