The door to my locker slammed shut in my face. I spun around and found Lynn and her clique surrounding me.
Lynn: How was last night with Justin?
I rolled my eyes and pushed past her. She pushed me into the lockers.
Me: I'm in not in the mood, Lynn. Leave me alone.
Ariana: Sounds like a chicken to me.
Me: I'm injured. You really think I'd fight any of you right now?
I tried pushing past them again, but they pushed me back. Harder this time.
Me: Guys, seriously. Leave me alone.
I tried again, but was pushed to the floor this time. Kelly took my bag and threw it across the hallway. I tried to get up, but Adriana pushed me back down.
Lynn: We're not done here.
She kicked me in my bad knee, making me hiss at the pain.
Me: That's my bad knee!
Lynn: That was the point.
Ariana picked me up by my shirt and threw me into a wall. If Mia wasn't sick, then maybe I wouldn't be getting my ass kicked by the sluts of the school.
As soon as I got off the plane, my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and answered.
Avery: Dawn wants to see you.
Me: I just got off the plane.
Avery: Good, cause she's about to go into surgery.
Me: What for?
Avery: She got beat up at school. She has to get surgery because if she doesn't, she'll die from bleeding internally.
My heart stopped. Literally. It felt like I couldn't breathe.
I hung up and shoved my phone into my pocket.
Scooter: Justin, what's wrong?
Me: We have to get to the hospital.
I woke up to a bright light shining in my face. I groaned at the pain from my head.
Me: What happened?
I looked around the room, realizing I was in a hospital room. I tried to sit up, but winced at the pain in my stomach and laid back down. I felt a hand wrapped tightly around mine. I looked at my hand, my eyes trailing up the arm of the person. My eyes met a pair of light brown ones, making my heart stop.
He gently wrapped his arms around me.
Justin: I missed you.
Me: I missed you, too.
We broke the hug and looked at each other.
Justin: How are you?
Me: I don't know, honestly.
The door opened, making us curious of who was there. A doctor walked in with a clipboard in her hands.
Doctor: You're finally awake, I see.
Doctor: How are you feeling?
Me: Well, I'm in pain. Does that count?
She started writing on her clipboard.
Me: What happened?
Doctor: You were passed out when you got here. You were bleeding internally, so we had to do some surgery. You're gonna have to stay here for a few days just to make sure you're ready to go back home.
Doctor: One person can stay here to watch you.
Justin: I'll stay. How long does she need to stay?
Doctor: Hopefully until Thursday.
Doctor: I'll be back in a few minutes to check on you again.
I nodded as she turned around and left. I looked at Justin.
Me: You don't have to stay, you know.
Justin: I want to.
I smiled as he kissed my forehead.
Justin: I wanted to ask you something.
Justin: I need a date to the AMA's on Sunday and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me.
Me: Just as friends, right?
He smiled, taking my hand in his.
Justin: I have another question.
Me: You and your questions.
Justin: You know how I haven't seen you for four months?
Justin: Well, I have to go to New York and Canada for the rest of November and all of December.
I lowered my head.
Justin: Can you come with me?
I looked at him.
Me: Has Scooter approved of this?
Justin: He doesn't know.
Me: What about your mom?
Justin: She said it's fine.
Me: I still have to ask my mom, though.
Justin: I talked to her.
?: You can go.
We both turned our heads to the door, seeing my mom in the doorway.
Mom: You can go as long as you call or text me.
Me: I will.
She turned around to leave.
She turned back around.
Mom: Yes, Justin?
Justin: You'll be coming up a week before Christmas.
She smiled and walked out of the room. I looked up at him.
Justin: Anyone else?
I shook my head.
Me: I have all the approval I need.
He smiled and kissed my cheek.
Justin: You still tired?
Justin: Go to sleep. I'll be here when you wake up.
I nodded and closed my eyes.

I woke up to sunlight shining in my face. I tried sitting yup, but my stomach was still in pain. I groaned at then pain, but still managed to sit up. I looked to my left, seeing Justin sleeping. I smiled, ruffling his hair. He groaned and sat up, looking at me.
He put his head back down.
Me: Don't go back to sleep. We're leaving today.
Justin: I know.
Me: Then sit up.
He groaned and sat up.
Me: Stop being such a baby.
Then the door opened. We both looked and saw the doctor walk in.
Doctor: How are you feeling?
Me: My stomach still hurts a little.
She tossed me a small container. I caught it in my hands.
Doctor: Pain relievers. One tablet every twenty-four hours.
I nodded, putting it on the side table.
Doctor: You can leave right now, if you want. Your mom already signed you out.
I nodded as she walked out the room. I looked at Justin.
Justin: So you ready to go?
He got up from the chair beside me and handed me some clothes.
Justin: Your mom gave them to me a few days before.
I nodded, taking the clothes from his hands and getting out of the bed. With Justin's help, of course. I walked towards the bathroom quickly, but cautiously.
When she came out, her hair was in a braid and she smiled. I smiled and walked over to her, taking her hand in mine. She pulled her hand away and walked over to the side table. She took her jacket, phone, and medicine bottle, walking towards me.
Dawn: Let's go.
I nodded as she walked out of the room with me following behind.
We sat down on the couch, Dawn cutting on the TV.
Me: So what are you gonna wear for the AMA's?
Dawn: I don't know yet.
Me: Surprise me.
She smiled and kissed my cheek. She looked back at the TV, showing a picture of Dawn and I leaving the hospital.
"Justin Bieber was spotted leaving the hospital with a girl earlier today. Who is she? Is Justin cheating on Selena or is this girl just a friend?"
I grabbed the remote and changed the channel to SpongeBob. Dawn grabbed the remote from me and went to CSI: Miami. I looked at her.
Dawn: I love this show.
I nodded as we sat there, watching CSI: Miami.
