Everyone around us tries to split us up. Truth is, we always find each other. We're inseparable.

59. Chapter 56

July 3, 2012
8:00 PM
It's been two days since her dad took her from me. He could he just take her out of nowhere?

It's your fault, y'know.

Ugh! I thought you went away.

Nope. Still here.

I rolled my eyes, running my fingers through my hair. I promised her a few days ago I would check up on her and I didn't. My conscience was right. It's my fault. I'm the one who didn't call her to see if she was okay. I'm the one who left her alone all day. I got up from the couch, walking towards the door. I shoved the gun into my back pocket as I walked out the front door.

Pattie's POV

As I was about to put in a movie, my phone rang. I picked it up, seeing Justin's picture light up. I hit 'answer', putting my phone to my ear.

Me: Justin?
Justin: Hi, mom. Have you seen Dawn lately?
Me: No, why?
Justin: She's not at my house and she's not at Avery's.
Me: Where is she?
Justin: I don't know, but I'm going to look for her.
Me: Well, be careful.
Justin: I will.
Me: Bye.
Justin: Bye.

I hung up, putting down my phone. I hope he finds her.

Justin's POV

I parked in the driveway, getting put of the car. I stormed up to the door of her house, my fists clenched. First, he blows up my car, then he takes my girlfriend? He's lost his mind. I grabbed the key from under the mat and opened the door. I walked into the house, my hand by my side. Quietly, I walked through the living room and into the kitchen.

?: Trying to find her, I see.

I spun around, facing her dad.

Me: Where is she?
Jordan: You tell me.
Me: I'm looking for her.

He rolled his eyes.

Jordan: It's obvious she left you.
Me: She would have told me if she didn't want to be with me.
Jordan: She's a slut, Justin.
Me: No she's not. I'm the only boyfriend she ever had and I'm damn sure she wouldn't leave me unless I hurt her in some way.

He scoffed walking towards me. I gripped the gun in my pocket as he got in my face.

Me: Where is my girlfriend?
Jordan: Why do you think I know where she is?
Me: It's obvious. You're the only one who would try to separate us.
Jordan: You don't belong together.
Me: Where is she?

He smirked.

Jordan: You'll never see her again.

With my anger rising inside of me, I took my gun out and hit him in the head. He fell to the floor, blacking out.

Me: We're inseparable.

I shoved my gun into my pocket, walked out of the house. I'm going to find her.

After driving around the whole state of California, I parked on the side of the road, getting in the backseat. I looked at the time, noticing it was three in the morning. As I was about to put my phone away, it lit up. I answered it, praying it was her.

Me: Hello?
?: Justin?

I sighed in relief.

Me: Where are you?
Dawn: I can't tell you?
Me: Why not?
Dawn: My dad could find out and kill you.
Me: Trust me, I don't think he'll be waking up anytime soon.

She gasped.

Dawn: You killed my dad?!
Me: No! I only knocked him out with a gun.
Me: What? He wouldn't tell me where you were. I had to do something.
Dawn: You didn't have to knock him out, though.
Me: I'm stressed, okay?! First he blows up my car and then he takes you from me! You have no idea how much pressure I'm dealing with!

She sighed in content.

Me: I've searched all over California for you and I can't find you.
Dawn: That's because I'm out-of-state.
Me: Then where are you?
Dawn: I can only give you a hint.
Me: I'll search the whole world if I have to.

She sighed again.

Dawn: I'm in North Carolina.
Me: I'll find you. I promise.

I hung up, getting back into the front seat. I'll find you. I always do.
