Kenny: Justin, wake up.
I groaned, pulling the bed sheets over my head.
Me: I don't want to.
Kenny: Fine. I guess you won't see your girlfriend.
My eyes shot open as I jumped out of bed.
Me: I'm up!
Kenny: That's more like it. Now get up. We have an eleven hour flight and the plane leaves at seven thirty.
I nodded as he walked out of my hotel room. I turned the side lamp on and headed to my suitcase.
Jordan: Avery, we need to talk.
I plopped down on the couch.
He let out a sigh, sitting down next to me.
Jordan: I made up my mind and I'm leaving to get help. I figured I needed to control my anger if I don't want to hurt you or Dawn anymore. I'm leaving tomorrow and I'll be gone for two months. I'll let Dawn talk to her boyfriend, but I won't let her see him.
I got up from the couch.
Me: Why not? Are you upset about him being there for her when you weren't?
Jordan: I don't want her to have him as her number one priority.
Me: He's not her number one priority, Jordan! She still talks to me and her friends. Yes, she sees him all the time, but that's because they're in love.
Jordan: They're just kids, Avery. They don't know a thing about love.
Me: Like we did. We were just like them, Jordan. My dad was overprotective and didn't want me seeing you. Then we ran away to Miami. Come to think of it, you promised me you wouldn't turn out like my dad and here you are, trying to control our daughter's love life.
Jordan: Our daughter? Yeah right, more like your daughter. You want to know why I say that? Because she's a selfish bitch just like you.
I slapped him in the face, his head going to the side.
Me: Get out.
With that, he walked out of the house, slamming it behind him. I sighed, running my fingers through my hair.
I took my phone out of my pocket, unlocking it. I went on Twitter, seeing tweets from some of my fans. Some were the simple 'I love you' while others were just comments on some of mine. But one caught my eye. It was about my girl. I read the tweet, frowning.
iheartjustin_15 who is she and why is Justin dating her?
I saw more as I scrolled down. Shaking my head, I got off of Twitter and shoved my phone back into my pocket.
?: You okay?
I turned my head, seeing Alfredo taking a seat next to me. I sighed, looking out the window.
Alfredo: You miss her, don't you?
Alfredo: Soon enough, you'll see her and she'll be in your arms again.
With that, he got up and went back to his seat.
Finally lunch. I thought it would never come. I threw my bag over my shoulder as I walked out of class. I took my phone out of my pocket and went through my messages. One from my mom, one from Pattie, but none from Justin. I sighed, shoving my phone into my pocket. Is he mad at me? What did I do wrong? I walked out to the courtyard with my head down.
?: Why are you upset?
I lifted my head up, my eyes widening as I dropped my backpack.
Without a single word escaping her lips, she ran up to me, wrapping her arms around my neck. I chuckled, wrapping my arms around her waist and spinning her around. I missed her being in my arms. I've gotten so used to it after the two months of being her boyfriend. I finally put her down, pulling away, but still having my hands on her waist. I rested my forehead against hers as she smiled.
Me: I missed you so much.
Before she could answer, I locked out lips together. She smiled as I pulled her hips closer to mine. Before things became more heated, we pulled away. She got out of my arms and walked over to the picnic bench. I followed her, sitting beside her with a bag of Wendy's in my hand.
Me: I got you lunch.
She smiled, taking the bag from me.
Dawn: How come you came back so early?
Me: France is nine hours ahead.
She nodded, taking out a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, Sprite, and a chocolate Frosty. She gave me back the bag, since the rest was mine.
Dawn: So what are you planning for your eighteenth?
Me: I'm not sure yet.
Dawn: Did Scooter tell you anything yet?
I shook my head.
Dawn: Well, you have about a week.
I walked back inside the school, seeing all the guys giving me glares as the girls shot me flirtatious smiles. Ignoring all the lyrics, I stopped at her locker as she was walking towards me with her friends. When she saw me, she smiled and ran towards me. I caught her in my arms and spun her around. People were staring, but I could care less. I put her down, kissing her forehead.
Dawn: I gotta go to my locker first.
I nodded, letting her go. She put her combination in and opened her locker. She put her books inside and closed it, taking my hand in hers.
Dawn: Let's go.
I kissed her cheek, making her cheeks flush red. I chuckled, intertwining our fingers.
