The next day Fred, Ron, George, Ginny, Mr. Weasley, Harry, and Hermione left for the World Cup. I was left with Mrs. Weasley for two days and we sat around all day talking. Mrs. Weasley told me she knew that Fred and I liked each other and that she was saving her Fred stories for when they all left for Hogwarts.
Soon enough, though, they returned from the World Cup shaken. Fred wasn't as shaken as the others, being Fred. But all the same I was worried about him.
"Fred," I said
"Yes," He turned to face me
"Are you all right?" I asked, "What happened?"
"Well," he paused, "Some Death Eaters came, and well, they aren't exactly the greatest people in the wizard world, and they attacked the World Cup."
"They attacked a trophy?" I smiled
"Amaris, this isn't a joking matter," he grabbed my shoulders, "They attacked us, and the Death Eaters aren't afraid to kill people, Amaris. Harry almost died in the panic, let alone the Death Eaters. They are bad people."
"I'm sorry, Fred. At least you all are safe." I hugged him and slowly he hugged me back
"It's alright," he hugged me tighter, "At least you're safe."
"Why wouldn't I be?" I pulled away and smiled up at him
"They-" He stopped
"They what?" I asked him
"Nothing, Amaris, nothing." He shook his head
"Alright," I gave him a look
"Alright," he nodded
"So," I looked up at him, "What are we going to do before you leave for Hogwarts?"
"I don't know," He smiled at me, "It's up to you."
"You're the one who's leaving," I pointed out
"Exactly," He smirked at me
"How about we both decide?" I offered
"I'll agree with anything you say," He pointed out
"Fine," I rolled my eyes as he chuckled
"How about you show me around this famous Diagon Alley everyone says their school supplies come from?" I suggested
"We can try," Fred smiled
