I open my eyes and the light shines through my window.
Waiting for a moment, I slowly get out of bed.
I definitely need a coffee, I thought to myself.
Once I got dressed I headed out the door and into my car.
As usual there was only a little bit of people as I drove past.
I pull up in front of the coffee shop and go inside.
There were different signs on the walls, more graffiti and they just got a chalk board.
"One coffee please."
I got out my wallet but then he said,
"It's on the house."
He nods his head and smiles.
I look to the left and I see Angel.
I cursed under my breath, it almost been two weeks after I last talked to her.
I wanted to call, but I felt like it would be too awkward.
When I walked over she greeted me.
"Look at you handsome."
"How have you been?"
"Good, what about you the last time I saw you-" she cut me off.
"I know and I'm sorry about that, I thought you needed your space."
"Jack really misses you."
"I just thought we'd be able to catch up."
"We haven't hung out in a while."
I rose from my chair.
"Look I know you don't want to talk but please..."
"It's not the same thing, your not like everybody else," Angel pleaded.
The waiter came and took the checkbook.
"You paid for the coffee, didn't you."
Angel was silent and her lips formed half of a smile.
"Come on, let's get out of here," I said.
Angels eyes lit up and she looked at me with her dark brown eyes.
"You look great," Angel chuckled.
Maybe she didn't know what else to say.
"Thanks, I can tell you're in a good mood."
"I am," she laughed.
"So tour's in a few weeks."
"Really, I didn't know."
She stopped walking, and I stared at her.
"Of course I knew silly, I wouldn't dare miss it. This is your biggest album yet !"
"I can't believe you guys were number one on the uk playlist."
"I know right, it's all a rush."
"I'll be looking for you in the crowd."
"I'll probably be standing on chairs," Angel chuckled.
I smiled, "I hope so, because if you're not I'll call you out on Twitter."
"Ohh no !"
"Yeah and I'll even tag jack, and maybe even Kanye West," I said in an accent.
We both laughed.
"But seriously I heard you were leaving."
"Who'd you hear it from?"
"Yeah, I'm going to visit my family," she sighed.
"How long will you be gone?"
I looked at the sidewalk.
"Have you told Jack?"
"I've been looking for the right time."
Angel stopped in front of me.
"Honestly, I didn't want you guys to know."
"When are you leaving?"
"The twenty ninth," she sighed.
One day after the Baltimore concert.
I got back home and started to clean up.
I opened my drawer and started searching, while looking for my phone I happened to realize that my gift for angel was on the floor.
I must've took it out, I thought.
Maybe I was just wasted.
