I moved from my bed to the bathroom to get ready. Today is my very first day at this Protection Program.
I took a full bath, washing my hair, shaving my legs and arm rips. Once I was down with everything, I changed into the uniform I HAD (just to leave it clear) to wear. The black polo shirt, and the plaid red and black skirt, reminded me of my father's office. I pulled my knee high socks and tied my converse.
"Let's hope for the best." I whispered as I walked out of my room.
"Good morning Richer." A tall, buffed, golden hair, hazel eyes boy said making me turn around, with fist on my hands, ready to fight.
"Who are you?" I asked dropping the fists and crossing my arms.
"Ax Deraps." He replied with a smile. "One of your bodyguards." He added with a wink.
"One of my bodyguards?" I questioned in disbelief.
"Yes." Another boy replied. He had golden hair and green eyes." I'm Keon Cohen. Bodyguard as well."
"Interesting." I replied with a fake smile. "Are you the only ones that live here with me?"
"No." Ax replied. "Two other guys live here."
"I have four bodyguards?" I asked in surpass.
"Hell no." Another boy said coming out of his room. "I'm not so good with strength." He added running his hand though his beach blonde hair.
"So I guess you are a mind controller?" I said, though it was more of a question.
"Yes." He smiled. "I'm Jared Faye, and yes I know my brown eyes are cute." He added with a wink.
I mocked his face. "I know you like the combination of my blonde hair and big brown eyes." I winked.
"Touché." Another boy, with black hair, and green eyes smirked. "Nathaniel Shakur at your service."
"I'm surrounded by hot boys." I stated and they laughed. "Are you like my mentors?"
"If you want to call us like that." Jared replied. "We are your roommates."
"The four of you are my roommates." I said and they nodded.
"I'm a classmate as well." Nathaniel smiled. "And we are gonna be late."
Nathaniel grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door, whilst Jared grabbed my backpack and walked behind us. Keon and Ax jogged over and each one of them stood besides me.
As we walked through the hallway, Nathaniel's grip hardened in mine, and everyone's posture harden.
I have no idea what the hell is wrong with this guys.
"May I ask why all of a sudden you guys panicked?" I asked.
"I'll explain later." Nathaniel whispered.
"Keon and I are going to class." Ax said. "We'll meet at study hall."
"Same place as always." Jared stated as he gave Nathaniel my backpack. "I'm headed to class."
I walked into class and sat on the back, Nathaniel following behind. Nathaniel handed me my backpack and a note. I furrowed my eyebrows and he shook his head and I rolled my eyes. This boy is confusing as fuck.
"What is this?" I whispered turning around.
"Read it." Nathaniel urged. "But don't het caught."
I nodded and opened the note. One side was black and I turned it around and saw a guy's handwriting.
"Richer: Don't leave the boys side. Always be with one of them. -Mr. Stalin."
What the hell with this man? Aren't I supposed to be safe here? Why shouldn't I leave their side? I turned around to Nathaniel and he urged me to face the board. I turned around and saw the teacher staring at me; he looked down to his paper and then back to me.
"Ms. Richer Davenport." The teacher said making everyone go silent. "Welcome aboard."
"Thank you sir." I replied somehow unsure.
"I'm Mr. Jenkins." The teacher said. "Open books to the page 247."
This teacher didn't give me a good vibe. Nathaniel's hand soothed my hair, letting me know hew was there for me.
