15. Chapter Ten

I was thrown on the floor, my stomach pressed to the rug, with a book right in front of me. The last two days have been pretty relaxing, and this today I had planned in finished reading the school work, and some other random reading I wanted to do.

Ax was sitting on the floor, with his math book opened, as he tried to finish some homework he had to turn in when we returned to school. It is so nice and relaxing to be without the school stress, and the stress that Mr. Stalin brings me when I have to be practicing my skills. How I hate that.

"Richer." Nath sang as he entered the living room. "Richer sweetie."

"What?" I questioned rolling to my back. "What do you want?"

"It's time to practice." Nath smiled as he stood on top of me. "Let's get up and start practicing."

"But I don't want to." I whined and pouted. "I want to read."

"Let's make a deal." Nath smiled. "I am going to block away one of my thoughts and you'll have to figure it out." I rolled my eyes at him. "If you find out which one it is, we won't practice until Mr. Stalin is back."

"Deal." I smirked. "Now, let me go back to reading."

I heard Ax chuckle and close his book. I turned to face him and he winked at me, before getting up and leaving the room. Nath grabbed his History book and went over to sit on the couch.

I pretended to go back to my reading but tried to calm and focus my mind. I really wanted to know what he was hiding now.

To-do list for today:

Practice with Richer.... On it

Read History.... On it

Fix the bedroom... Done

Choose cloth... Done

What? Choose cloth for what? I focused a little bit harder and found out where he kept his secrets. Just like I had explained to Jared, it was some sort of door, but I couldn't find a way of opening it. He is so different from Jared, Nath actually has his thoughts organised.

I rested my head on my hands and pretended to get more interested in my book, if I could manage to break down his lock... How?

I can't believe I am making her search for that... I should be asking her, instead of her reading it.

And in that moment, I opened the door and saw the thought right in front of me.

Richer Davenport, would you go out on a date with me?

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, does he really want to ask me that?

"If I want to go out on a date with you?" I said sitting up staring at Nath.

"What?" He asked as I caught him off guard. "What? Wait. How did you figure that out so fast?"

"I don't know." I shrugged. "I focused on your secrets."

"Good job." Nath smiled at me. "So do you?"

"Are we even allowed to leave?" I questioned.

"Who says we have to leave?" Nath smirked. "We can make it another movie night with a nice dinner, only you and I."

I swallowed and nodded. "Sure." I smiled shyly.

"Tomorrow then." Nath winked before leaving me alone.

Moments later Ax came in with a huge grin on his face. I gave him a questionable look and he gave me a wink before sitting down right in front of me.

"I told you." Ax mocked. "I told you he was into you."

"Shut up Ax." I rolled my eyes laughing.

"When's the date?" Ax questioned.

"Tomorrow." I replied staring at the floor.

"What are you going to wear?" Ax questioned.

"Ax please!" I whined.

"You gotta impress him!" He laughed. He LIKES you! <3<3

"Shut up and block your mind." I stuck my tongue. "I can see your hearts at the end of your thoughts."

Oh this is so weird... Cute weird.
