6. First day of School
Five days since my mom has passed away. We already has her funeral and burial. Today is my first day of school, my mom already paid for my school fees in advance. My dad stays locked up in his room all the time, i barely even see him anymore. I go buy grocery's with my part time job money, i even pay the bills! I use my dads car since he never goes anywhere. I finally leave my thoughts and slowly get out of my bed. I take a quick shower and blow dry my hair. I put a Black tank top on with a grey see through shirt on top, with a pair of skinny jeans. I brush my hair, and put on a necklace my mom gave me with a cross on it. She gave this to me on my last birthday. I slip on a black pair of vans shoes and grab my bag. I then say at the bottom of the stairs, "bye dad!" No answer, I remember last year on my first day of school my mom would be so excited for me and say, "tell me if you see any cute boys!" Me and her would laugh and giggle all the time! Me and her would always go buy new clothes for my first day of school. These thoughts then bring tears into my eyes, this school year will be way different, no laughter for me at all. I sigh and grab the car keys and walk out the door and lock it. I unlock the car and sit in the drivers seat putting my bag in the passenger seat. I start the car and shut the car door. I then pull out of the driveway and drive to school. Th car im driving is a really nice Honda car, its silver. My dad doesn't even drive it anymore, so i would probably call it my car now. I finally arrive at school and park in a available spot. I turn the car off and put the car keys in my bag and grab my bag. I open the door and step out of my car, i remember i have to lock my car so i grab the keys back out of my bag and lock the car then i throw the keys back into my bag. I slowly walk up to the main school doors with my head facing down. I know everyone is staring at me, the whole school probably knows about what happened to my mom. My mom was a very sociable person, she knows every person in this whole entire town! Everybody loved my mom, she was kind to everyone, who wouldn't like her. I walk through the main doors and into the main cafetateria where they give us are class schedules and locker numbers and locks. I get in line and even then everyone is still looking at me.
