Every beam was now crumbling around us and I was thinking that we were not going to make it but the door was just in front of us. I could feel my head spin and my heart race as we ran and became nothing but little rats trying to get away from the cat which is at our heals.
I looked back to see the rubble and then the light surprised me as I stumbled back and bumped into Uncle Arcum. I smiled as I realized that I could smell fresh air hit my skin and lungs to where I knew that this time the air around me was freedom air, not tainted by blood of my families’ past and religion that is now nothing. I looked over to see that my uncle was on his knees crying.
I walked slowly and knelt right beside him to feel the last of the dust hit my back while the entrance of the cave fell to seal it off forever. “We are free it is over.” He said and I was wrapped into his arms.
“It is a wonderful feeling. right uncle.” I said but then I felt woozy to where I looked down to my arm and noticed that I could see blood, something that I was not used to at all other than it spraying out of others. “Arcum.” I felt the word slip my lips before I didn’t seem to feel a thing but a slight bit of weightlessness as I can see the look on my uncle’s face as worry. He put my arm on top of my wound but I had lost the strength to put pressure on it so I was just putting Gamra’s blood on top of my own wound but my arm slid off my wound.
Then the next thing I know I felt something strap me in but that was it before the quickness of life that I had lived rushed over me. I could see me when I was little trying to take down my own mother and father whom were expert Creeds but there was something else instead of my father in the picture this time since I was also seeing what Arcum was trying to have me to never learn that my uncle is really my dad since the marking was reassured from him to me.
I can see my aunt and I felt like there was this moment of celerity though unsure if this was the right answer but that is what my reality is or should I stick out to what it was, before I never knew what my family was, before I learned about the generations of marks being transferred to where you have to have at least one side with the bloodline in order for it to show but the leader’s creed is dominate over a regular like my mom and Greave has.
I opened my eyes to a white room and a small TV and a sound of a monitor going off. “Uncle?” I asked and I sat up in a white bed and him entering the room.
“You are walking the same path that I had.” I hear him chime as he came into my room with a doctor right behind him. I didn’t care much but
“Who’s she other than the Doctor?” I asked.
“Fear, I was a member of the creed.” She said while making sure that I was healing under the wrap and I shook my head and she gave me a questionable glance.
“The Creed is gone; It is ok to say your real name.” I chimed and she looked like I just gave her a way to let off tons of weight that was on her shoulders.
“It’s Frietta.” She chimed and I felt happy that I see the release of one Creed member but I know that I had released an entire world.
“Nice to meet you Frietta, I’m Azyla.”
