Did Perrie really just say that? Dis she really just defend me from people who were criticizing me? I don't mean to be mean to her, but I've never thought she would do that for me. I just met her, I'm basically a stranger to her. Why would she?
I brushed away my thoughts. I needed to get ready for tonight. I just went to their room just to tell them to get ready, not to hear them say that about me. Now i'm stuck all alone with the title of “slacker” hung right above my head. I can't be that person. Best first day ever right?
I put on my dark skinny jeans, white tank top and long sleeve cardigan. I wrapped my dagger strap around my belly button o my dagger was on my side. My top was baggy enough so the bumps wouldn't show. I grabbed my bag and key, and left the room waiting outside Jeremy's. I whipped out my phone.
You ready yet? I texted him.
Nope. Well almost. He replied.
I'm outside. Let me in. I texted. Almost immediately he opened the door.
“Come in.” he said. I walked through.
“Thanks. Can I stay in here until we have to go? I don't want to be alone right now.” i said.
“Of course.” he said.
If you don't know who i am, my name is Jeremy Sereda. I am 5'10, Canadian (my grandparents were born there), and i have brown hair and blue eyes. One thing i look forward to on this tour is spending time with this other bodyguard. Her name is Reyna Razo. I met her on the plane ride here, and we just kinda clicked. I don't know if she feels the same way, i hope she does.
“So how much more time do you need?” she asked. I looked in the mirror.
“Maybe 15 minutes. Then lets go meet Paul.” I said
“Cool. I'll just wait here then.” she said sitting on my bed. I quickly got my cloths and went to the washroom to change. I scrambled to change. I threw on my jeans and plaid shirt. I fixed my hair up and walked out.
“So this is why your bag was heavy.” Rey said. There she was laying across my bed, reading my comic books. I have never seen a girl like that.
“Oh... yeah.” I felt the blood rush to my cheeks. “I brought too much didn't i?”
“No. Don't be ashamed. I love reading Marvel Comics. You don't have my favourite hero, but you have good taste.” she said flipping through an issue of the Avengers.
“Oh yeah. Who's your favourite?” I said sitting near her.
“Do you know X-23? She's like the daughter of Wolverine.” she said.
“No, I don't know her.” I said.
“Well, next time come to my room,. I brought a few of her issues.” she said getting up. “Ready?” I nodded.
Okay fine! I'm a big nerd when it come to stuff like comic books. I'm proud to be a nerd! And it's nice talking to people about that stuff. I usually feel out of place, but Jeremy makes me feel like i'm at home. I'm the exact opposite of Danielle, Perrie, and Eleanor. That's what I'm afraid of... that i won't relate to them for the whole tour.
Enough of my ranting. Back to the story. Me, Jeremy and Martin just had to walk around and make sure the boys and girlfriends are okay. They had a separate booth from us, but we had one next to it.
“We'll take turns. One person stays here, one at the bar, and another on the dance floor.” Martin planned out.
“Sounds good. I'll take the bar.” Jeremy said.
“I can stay here.” I offered.
“Okay then, the floor's mine. Text each other when we switch.” Martin said. The two boys walked off, leaving me at the booth. The only two people in the booth were Eleanor and Louis. The others were dancing or drinking. Something caught my eye... or should i say someone.
A man, maybe 30 years old was sitting at thee bar. He kept staring at Eleanor. I made sure to make my eyes wander away so he wouldn't catch me staring. As soon as El stood up, I texted Jeremy to switch. As soon as i saw him leave his spot, i got up and kept my distance from Eleanor. I saw three more guys and the other guy get up too. I saw them follow Eleanor. They had a gun strapped to their belt, so i had to be careful.
Then they took action. They quickly grabbed her and covered her mouth. Other guys used their bodies to cover up the scene. They opened an exit door and ran through. I quickly followed. I was dressed in dark clothing so they couldn't see me, but i saw the whole thing.
“I need to use the washroom.” I said in Louis' ear. I got up and made my way. Then one guy grabbed my mouth when i was half way to the washroom.
“I have a gun. You scream, and i'll kill you.” he said in my ear. My screams would be useless with the bass of the club being so loud. They led me outside into an alley. I was thrown into two guys who held me by my shoulders.
“Well look at this hot piece you found here.” he grabbed my chin. Then he chuckled. “Strip her down.”
He opened my blouse and undid my belt. Then his hands were off me. A black blur tackled him to the floor. Its heel shoot up into another guy's chin sending his head up and blood splattering out. Now it faced me. A fist went to the right side of my head, but never collided with me. I felt hot liquid hit my neck. A set of hands let go of me, but the other wrapped around me. I heard a click near my left ear.
“Don't or i'll shoot.” he said. The figure stood still. They were holding something in their right hand. There was major tension between them. Then the figure's arm looked like it twitched. I heard a slight swish and the guy let me and his gun go. The guy behind me screamed and fell to the floor gripping their right shoulder. Something thick was sticking out of him, then he stopped screaming and collapsed. I was just shocked.
“Well that was the first time i had to use my dagger.” the figure said. A voice that i recognized.
