We left the hotel not too long after I spoke with Jeremy. We split into different cars. I went with my client/ Eleanor, Jeremy went with his/ Niall. We weren’t in the same car, yet we were still texting eachother. I have to admit he was a great guy, but I just don’t see myself with him. Honestly I just haven’t really thought about him that way, and I highly doubt he’s thinking of me that way.
“Rey?” El got my attention.
“We’re here. What’s on your mind?” El asked me as we got out of the car.
“Just some thoughts.” I giggled and we walked into the pub. We had two booths reserved for us, so we had to split ourselves again. Each booth had eight people in it. The bodyguards sat together, while the boys and girlfriends were in the other.
“Is there a plan?” Paris asked as we all sat down.
“We’ll do the same thing we did in the club. There are more of us now, so we have an advantage.” Martin said.
“What happened in the club?” Theresa asked.
“We spread out all over. Some at the bar, some at other tables.” I explained.
“We’ll split up. Reyna, Jeremy, Roman, take the bar. Eric and Theresa, find tables and keep an eye on our group. Paris, Jackson, we’re walking around for now.” Martin ordered.
“Should we just stay here?” Eric asked.
“Decide for your own, and don’t draw attention to yourself.” Martin said. “We all have our cellphones. Contact one another when you want to switch positions.”
“Got it.” We all said. We walked to our positions.
The bodyguards spread out all over the pub. Some went to the baar, some went to other tables, and the rest were just walking around. I saw Rey go to the bar. I excused myself and walked over to her. I knew she was sixteen, but she looked and acted so much older.
“I’ll just have water. I’m too young to drink.” She said to the bartender.
“I’ll have a beer.” I ordered from the bartender. Rey turned around.
“Hey! I didn’t see you there.” She greeted.
“I just got here.” I said as I took the seat beside her.
“I see. So what’s up?” she asked.
“What do you mean?”
“Well over there you have your best friends, while here you have a socially awkward girl you barely know.” She explained.
“Just trying to get you know you better.” I answered. “We will be together for awhile ya know.”
“Fair enough. Why don’t we do something like you ask me a question, then I’ll answer ad then you answer that question. Then we rotate.” She suggested.
“Sounds good.” I said as our drinks arrived. She took a ip of hers.
“You first.” She said.
“Okay. Let’s start off easy. Full name?” I asked.
“Reyna Gonzalves Razo.”
“Harold Edward Styles.” I replied.
“Age?” she asked.
“Birthday?” I asked.
“Hometown?” she asked.
“Um… favourite food?” I asked.
“Favourite colour?” she asked.
“Three way tie between blue, black and purple.”
“Favourite movie?” I asked.
“Don’t have one. There are too many to name?”
“That’s a good one. Umm… Perfect first date?” she asked.
“Watch a film, then have Italian or French dinner.”
“A coffee shop date, then maybe a walk under the stars just talking.”
“Sounds nice. Erm… siblings?” I asked. Rey’s smile faded and her eyes became glassy. “I’m sorry. You don’t have to tell me.” I started to protest.
“No. you asked, so it’s only fair I tell.” She started. She looked at me with such sad eyes. “I have two older sisters, had three older brothers and one younger brother.” My older brothers went to the army… and never came back. I have two older sisters and one younger brother left.” She said as a tear fell from her eye. She buried her face with her hands, and I wrapped my arms around her. I couldn’t tell how hard she was crying, buti just kept holding her. After what felt like forever, she looked up.
“You still didn’t answer me.” She smiled as she wiped away a few tears.
“Siblings?” she asked as her happiness came back to her eyes. I smiled at her.
“One older sister… and four older brothers.”
