I walked all over the hotel. I took the stairs to waste some more time, but I had to tell someone what Paul told me. Eleanor, Danielle, Perrie, anyone really. I just needed some advice of what to do. Do I change my entire look? If I do get tattoos, does that change me at all? What would I get? And where does the needle prick me where it must?
My mind was too full of thoughts that I didn't know where I was headed. Somehow I walked into the hallway I took to first meet the girls. My feet kept bringing me forward to the door of the lounge. The feeling I had before I walked through the door, was the feeling of excitement and happiness. Then why did I feel like something would go wrong if I walks through this time? My gut was almost never wrong, but what if it was wrong this time? I turned the knob and walked in on a sight to see. There were 15 people in the room. 10 of them I already knew, but five of them were new to my eyes. Two girls and three boys were new sights to see. The second I walked in, Jeremy came up to me and pulled me outside.
"What's up?" I questioned.
"How are you feeling?" He looked me in the eye and crossed his arms.
"What are you talking about?"
"What were your injuries? I was going to help you, but you left before I could." He said.
"Swollen cheek, black eye, and a few bruises everywhere else. Can you let me in now?"
"No. I have to tell you what's going on." He said.
"Paul already told me everything I need to know. I just want to meet them." I replied.
"Not that. I need to tell you something specifically."
"Which is...?" I asked. He hesitated.
"There's something about them that I don't like. I keep getting this vibe that they're up to no good." He said. So... My gut was right.
"Does Martin know?" I asked. He nodded. "Just keep your guard up then. I can feel that too." He agreed, and we walked in. Jeremy practically pushed me towards the girls, while he walked to the boys. I walked toward the five girls who were having what seemed like a nice conversation. El looked up and scootched over so I could sit beside her. I gladly took the seat.
"Rey, meet out other bodyguards. This is Paris, and that's Theresa." She introduced.
"Hi!" They greeted.
"Hi!" I replied... Shyly again.
"We've heard a lot about you. Perrie was just telling us about last night." Paris said.
"Very impressive work for your first day." Theresa agreed.
"Thanks, but I was just doing my job." I said.
"Does it really get that crazy around here?" Paris asked. Me and the girlfriends nodded.
"Especially tonight." Perrie said. " the concert is usually when all the fans get crazy." Shit. I forgot about tonight.
"So... How we gonna decide this?" Paris asked.
"Decide what exactly?" I asked.
"Who guards who?" Theresa clarified.
"What?... Wait what?" Danielle asked.
"You didn't know? We have to choose who we guard. We're now one-to-one with you guys." I explained. "Even with the boys."
"So how does this work?" Eleanor asked.
"We could rotate. Like we change up every week." I suggested.
"That works. But how do we choose who get who for the first week?" Theresa asked. We all thought about it.
"The classic pick a name out of a hat." Danielle suggested. We all agreed.
"Rey pass me your beanie." Perrie said as she was getting napkins and a pen. I took off my beanie as the girls wrote down their names on a napkin. They put the napkins in the hat and mixed up the napkins. El offered me the hat first. I stuck my hand in and unfolded the napkin.
"I got you El." I smiled at her. We highfived. The other girls picked a napkin. Paris got Danielle. And Theresa got Perrie.
"Great! We'll decide again the same way next week." Theresa suggested.
"Sounds good." We all agreed. We carried out our conversation.
"I'm gonna get a drink. Does anyone want anything?" Theresa offered.
"Can I get a root beer?" I asked.
"Sure. Anything else?" She offered.
"No. We're okay." And she walked to the fridge to get our drinks. We started talking again about how tonight would go, but Theresa was taking awhile for only two drinks. I looks up to see what was going on... Theresa was talking with Jeremy. I was going to look down because it didn't matter, but then she started laughing and playfully pushed him away. Then she started to rub his arm up and down... She was flirting with him? And I was getting... Angry? What's going on?
