21. Chapter 20

Reyna’s P.O.V

We finished up in the stadium five songs after the boys sang ‘I Wish’. Majority of the songs they were singing were from their newer album. They have their first show tomorrow, so we have to get to the stadium tomorrow. We all got in the cars. The girls, Niall and Zayn were with me. The rest of the boys, Paul, Martin and Jeremy went into another car. Once we were on our way back to the hotel, Niall and I engaged in conversation.

“So Rey, how was your day today?” Niall asked first.

“It was okay. Not the best but not the worst. How was yours?”

“Great from beginning to end.” He said joyfully. I didn’t want to make him sad, so I tried keeping the conversation happy.

“That’s great! What made you in such a happy mood?” I asked.

“I finally got to spent time with the guys, just us.” He admitted. I laughed.

“What are you talking about?” I asked. Niall looked over at Zayn.

“Maybe I should text this to you.” He said. We exchanged numbers, and he texted me his problem.

This is the first time in a awhile when it was just me and the boys. When we’re together, they usually bring their girls and maybe a few of their friends. It was nice when it was just the guys. Don’t get me wrong, I love the girls, but looking at them in relationships while I’m a single pringle is just sad. He texted.

Well you have Harry. I texted him.

Well yeah. But he’s gonna get a girlfriend soon. He responded. Before I could text back we arrived at the hotel. I looked at Niall, who then smiled at me.

“We can talk about this later.” I said to him. He nodded and we got out of the van. He was about to go in the lobby, but then he turned around and wrapped his arms around me and whispered in my ear.

“Thanks for listening. When the boys go out tonight, you can stay with me and Harry if you want.” He offered. I wrapped my arms around him.

“Totally depends on what’s happening bro.” I said in his ear before I broke the hug. “But I’d love to.” I smiled. I walked to the lobby and went to find Paul so I could ask him what’s happening to me. It took me some time to find him. Fans were in the foyer waiting for the boys to walk through. Too many people to find him, but then the girls started screaming and Paul entered with the boys. I ran up to Paul.

“Reyna, we have to talk, but help out with this first.” He ordered.

            “What do I do?”

“Give the boys room to walk, let them sign a few things and take a few pictures.” He explained. Not long after, I was being shoved by fans. I started pushing back so I could keep myself up.

“Step back please.” I told whoever heard it. Three of these girls were looking at me really weird.

            “Who are you?” one said.

“You can’t tell us what to do.” Another one said.

“Yeah bitch, move so Harry can propose to me.” The last one said.

“Girls please step back.” I said once more. One of them slapped me across the face.

“You’re just another Harry girl aren’t you? You’re a bitch that tells everyone Harry’s your boyfriend.” She slapped my other cheek… so hard it knocked me back a few steps. I felt something clog me in my gut… then I got mad. She was about to kick my shin when I blocked her and pushed her back. The other two girls pounced on me. If they were guys, this would have been a completely different story, but they were girls that I didn’t know. I don’t like fighting, so what was I going to do? They were punching and kicking me, and I was blocking them from hitting my face so I wouldn’t get a concussion. The pain was really getting to me, I could feel myself beginning to pass out from all the pain. It just kept coming and piling onto me, I didn’t know how to stop it. They were beating at me… then I didn’t feel anything. I uncovered my face to see Jeremy helping Harry who was helping me up. The girls were going gaga over him, but he didn’t even look at them. He looked really angry. They helped me get into the elevator. It was only me, Jeremy and Harry in this elevator, everyone else went up already. We stood in silence until the third floor. I didn’t dare look in the reflection.

“Rey are you okay?” Jeremy started.

“Do I look okay?” I tried to joke, but failed.

“You look like you’re about to pass out.” Harry said very stern.

“I feel that way, but don’t let me sleep. I think I have a concussion.” I said. “Seriously though, how bad do I look?” I looked at both of them. Harry’s face showed disgust for a split second. Jeremy tried to look calm, but looked shocked. I just pushed through them and looked in the mirror. My nose was bleeding as well as my lip. My right cheek was bruising/ swelling, and my left eye was bruising.

“Great.” I muttered. I looked at them. “This is my just my face. I don’t want to see what my body looks like.”

“It’s not that bad.” Harry tried to comfort me.

“Easy for you to say. You don’t have blood smeared all over your face.” I groaned.

“The blood shows that you did your job.” Jeremy tried to point out. “That you protected your clients.”

“Thanks.” I said. “I have to find Paul later, but I have to wash up first.”

“I’ll tell him that you’re looking for him.” Jer said. The doors to the elevator opened and I quickly ran to my room before anyone could see me. I quickly went to the washroom to stop the bleeding on my face, and started covering up my bruises with make-up. I usually don’t wear make-up, but these bruises were really horrible. I finished up and went out to find Paul. It took awhile but I did eventually. When I did, he had a hard look on his face.

“Come with me. We have lots to discuss.”
