The setting was absolutely beautiful. Right by the lake, in the middle of winter. Light flakes of snow were drifting around in a circular motion. Alex had chosen the area, but Harry didn't mind. He only wanted to make her happy. She had on a pearly-white, strapless, ball gown. Her black curly hair fell in perfect spirals around her shoulders. Harry had on a simple black tux, and her brown curls were messy and wild. Styled for Alex, he knew she loved it that way.
"As we are gathered here today I can't help but think it was because of luck, or maybe it was just faith. I can't even imagine what would have happened if I had went to another coffee shop. Or if our eyes hadn't even met, and our paths hadn't crossed, instantly creating sparks. It hurts me just to think about it. All I know is that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and only you. So, as I'm standing here, in this stunning white strapless, and your looking ever so dashing in your crispy black suit. I only want to say "I do." And I want to be yours forever and always. I really, really do." Slipping the ring on his finger, I dried my tears. Smiling, I squeezed his hand.
Clearing my throat, I turned to face a pair of big brown, sparkling eyes in front of me.
"Alexandria, my love for you is as solid as gold. It can never, ever be broken. When I saw you in that coffee shop, studying your butt off, I knew that I just had to make you mine. And I did, and I'm pretty damn proud of myself for doing so. Your incredibly gorgeous, smart, sexy." I laughed, and she blushed. "The list could go on and on. But it's your personality that lured me in. I love how your always putting others needs before yours, how kind and gentle you are, and when you smile with eyes. I know you will make a fantastic mother, and an amazing wife. I just want to take care of you, love you, and protect you. I want to be everything you've ever wanted and more. You just tell me what what you want, and I'll be that for you. Always. You jump, I jump. Remember? Forever and Always." Lifting up her fragile hand, I pressed my plump lips on her soft skin, and slipped the diamond on her ring finger. I brushed the freely flowing tears off her rosy cheeks, and grazed my lips against her forehead.
"You may now kiss the bride."
Placing my hand on the back of her neck, I pressed my icy cold lips against her warm pink ones. And it seemed as if everything in the world had stopped, and it was only Alexandria and I. My love.
