"Nyssa? Nyssa? Wake up," I heard someone whisper. I felt my body being shook. I slowly opened my eyes to a pair of blue-green eyes staring down at me. I gave him a small smile and he gave me one back. "Rise and shine sleepy head," he smiled. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 10 o'clock in the morning.
"Why? It's Saturday," I whined. "It's too early," I continued to whine. Louis continued to laugh. "And I still hurt," I finished whining.
"Would you like some cheese with that whine?" Louis laughed. I stuck my bottom lip out at him.
"Come on. I made breakfast," he smiled. I felt a smile creep onto my lips as I sat up. I felt the pain build up all over me. I groaned then laid back down on the bed.
"Do I have to get up?" I asked, but it came out more as a whine. Man... I am in a very whiney mood this morning.
"No," Louis said before he picked me up bridal style. I squeaked at the sudden action he just did. He only laughed and carried me down the stairs. He sat me down on a chair in the dining room. He went into the kitchen and I heard the clutter of plates and silverware. I then looked around a bit and noticed no one else was here. Louis then walked back in with the dishes and went to get the food.
"Is it just you here?" I asked Louis as he entered the room with the food... PANCAKES AND BACON!
"No. I live with my mum and 4 sisters," he told me. My eyes widened. 4 sisters?! Well, I shouldn't complain... I have 1 younger sister. I was about to ask him another question but he beat me to it. "My mum had to work out of town over the weekend. I had made plans this weekend so my sisters are at their friends' house," he told me while putting a few pancakes on my plate along with some bacon.
"How old are your sisters?" I asked him as I buttered my pancakes.
"Let's see... Charlotte, or Lottie, is 14. Felicite, or Fizzy, is 12. And the twins, Daisy and Phoebe, are 8," he told me. I nodded as I took a bite of my pancake. Then I realized something.
"Hey. My sister is 14. Maybe they know each other," I smiled. Louis nodded then took a bite of bacon. Then he looked at me.
"What is your sister's name?" he asked.
"Kyra," I told him. He nodded then we continued to eat in silence. Once done, Louis took in all the dishes and cleaned them up. I offered to help but he only picked me up and carried me to the living room. I laid on the couch thinking while he cleaned up.
"You could've turned on the tellie you know?" Louis laughed as he came into the living room and grabbed the remote.
"I think I should go soon," I spoke up. Louis looked at me confused. "You said you had plans this weekend so..."
"No, no. It's fine. They came easily be changed. I was just hanging out with my friend, or friends depending on their plans," he told me. I just nodded. "Plus, you are still hurt. I don't think it is a good idea to be doing a lot of things this weekend. Relax. Ok?" he asked with a smile. "I will just ask them to come here and hang out. And you can text your mum that you are staying at a friend's house."
"Ok... But what if my mom needed me to babysit?" I asked him. He sat in the chair thinking for a moment.
"Maybe we can see if she can hang out with Lottie if she doesn't have any plans," Louis suggested. I shrugged my shoulders and pulled out my phone.
Turns out, my sister was at a friend's house as well and my mom had to work this weekend as well. What are the odds? Louis just went upstairs to take a shower while I sat, well laid, on the couch watching the TV.
"Hello?" I heard an unfamiliar voice call out as I heard the front door open. I froze. "Louis? You here?" the voice called again. I relaxed a bit. It was just one of Louis's friends... I hope.... I heard footsteps nearing me, probably noticing that the TV was on and no one was answering. He walked into the living room and faced me. He jumped a bit when he saw me. "Oh. I didn't know Louis had someone over. I think I should go."
"No, no. It's fine. Louis will talk to you more about once he is out of the shower," I told him. The mystery friend tilted his head to the side a bit. "Louis won't let me leave due to what happened yesterday," I told the mystery friend. He was wearing a beanie and sunglasses. I saw him raise an eyebrow. "Again... He will talk to you more about it once he is out of the shower. The person nodded. "Where are my manners?" I asked. I attempted to sit up, but I wasn't doing to well. I gave up and stayed laying down. "I'm Nyssa," I smile. I saw the person's jaw drop a bit.
"Nyssa? Nyssa Davis? New American... obviously... student that Louis talks about all the time?" he went on. I blushed a bit when he said Louis talks about me all the time. I gave him a smile and nod. He dropped his bag and came over to me. He lifted my upper body off the couch and I did a little yelp. He then pulled me into his arms and gave me a hug. He squeezed a little too tight and I yelped a bit again.
"Thank you..." he spoke. I was confused. I gave him a puzzling look.
"What?" I asked still in his arms. He pulled away but held onto my shoulders.
"I'm Harry by the way," he smiled.
"You know me," I smiled back.
"Thank you," he repeated. Again, I gave him a puzzling look. "For getting Louis into football again."
