I chose to go and get Harry from the bakery, in time when he finished for the day. He looked at me with big eyes and didn't protest when I pulled him along the street.
"A surprise!" I said lightly and headed for school. Harry had big eyes and seemed just like to come along. I knew what to do and I had planned it well.
"This is a music studio!" I got up when we came into the room. Harry just stared at the instrument and all keys that were in the control room.
I smiled to him and placed him in the middle of the room.
"I want you to sing a song for me."
He said directly against me, but I didn't give up. Instead, I put him on one of the chairs. I grabbed the microphone and set the tripod in front of his face. I smiled at him and showed that he didn't need to be afraid.
"I'm not asking you to be like a star, be just Harry." I said kindly. "I will not post it online and it's just for my sake."
Harry's face was white and I saw that his hands were shaking. I chose to start quietly and walked over to the piano that stood in the room. I sat down and started playing randomly.
"We can always start by choosing the song?"
Harry looked down at his hands and then up at me.
"Don't let me go?"
I nodded and started to play on the piano. I heard Harry slowly started to get going and he didn't sound confident in his voice. Still, he managed to capture the tones and I heard how wonderful voice he had.
"I saw in the corner there is a photograph, No doubt in my mind it's a picture of you, It lies there alone in its bed of broken glass, This bed was never made for two..."
He looked at me and I saw how he relaxed. He smiled weakly, and when he got to the chorus he had completely forgotten to be afraid.
"Don't let me , Don't let me go, 'Cause I'm tired of feeling alone..."
When Harry had started, I chose to go into the control room. I had the song since before recorded and I put in Harry's voice. This time he stood up and sang safely into the microphone. I just sat and gaped at him. He sounded wonderful!
I felt my body relaxed and I saw that Louis liked my voice. I sang for him and I couldn't leave him with my eyes.
"I promised one day that I'd bring you back a star, I caught one and it burned a hole in my hand oh Seems like these days I watch you from afar, Just trying to make you understand, I'll keep my eyes wide open yeah!"
The last chorus sat like a glove. I sang with secure voice and I was reassured to sing in front of Louis.
"Don't let me, Don't let me go, 'Cause I'm tired of sleeping alone..."
When the song had faded out Louis sat just looked at me. I was once again in doubt and chose to come to him, in the control room.
"Did it sound crappy?"
Louis shook his head and just stared at me. He smiled weakly and swallowed.
"You have such a wonderful voice."
I sat down next to him and smiled weakly.
"No, I'm not exactly a star."
Louis pressed a few buttons and I heard the recorded song began playing up the sound. I heard my voice, but it didn't feel right. Yet Louis was fond and he seemed to listen with all his heart.
"That's good!" he said and I heard he was earnest. "You are a hidden star."
When the evening came we had tampered with the song and I had been singing again on some pieces. In the end, it sounded really good and I agree with him that I managed to sing like I really could do it.
"Please, Harry!" Louis whispered into my ear. "Can't I put it on you tube?"
"No!" I said right away but Louis looked at me with his blue eyes.
"It would be a shame if people couldn't hear your song."
"But I'm ..."
He interrupted me.
"You're a star and you can sing. Couldn't you let others hear it?"
I did something that I never dreamed of. I said yes and Louis put the song on his channel on You Tube. I saw how he uploaded the clip, and he wrote Harry beside the song.
"It's your's." he said happily. "I would never dream of at take credit for it."
