1. Before Hogwarts
I have been blind my whole life. I have never seen my brother or my father or my mother in my life. Draco's 13 months older than me, and so he was always my protector. We only stayed in the same classes because of that. Hogwarts was a whole different story. I thought that it would be a lot like muggle school, we would be going from class to class, and we would be in different dormitory, and so it would be hard for me. But they found 1 5th year in each house that is willing to help me while I'm in my dormitory. I was happy about that. I have mastered the art of taking off and putting on my clothes, but I'm still blind, and so I normally just ware a pair of jeans and some random shirt. I don't know what they say, or what they look like. That's why I'm glad Hogwarts has a uniform, so that I don't have to worry about what I look like, and I'm relived. Mother and Father have made every precaution to make sure I am safe there. They would have home schooled me if I hadn't shown them I could handle it in muggle school. I still don't know what to think of it. I want to go to Hogwarts though, and be treated like a normal kid, that wants to be treated like I know what to do. I bought the books in blind version, and I know how to write, so I'm perfectly qualified to go to Hogwarts. I'm glad that I have Draco there, and so I can have somebody who's taking the same classes as I am, and who will always be there to help me. This is his second year, but my first, and so I know I'm safe. I trust him. I don't know who wouldn't trust him.
