The boys ushered me into a room. It was small like a closet. They shut the door, while I hid in the very back. All of a sudden the doorbell rang again. Ding-dong-ding-dong! I was very frightened.
I heard the stairs creaking as the boys calmly walked to the door. I heard the door slowly open up, revealing the people behind it. I heard Liam speak. "Hello. Can I help you?"
"We are looking for this little girl." Then all I heard was silence.
"Have you seen her?" My father's menacing voice boomed through the peaceful silence.
My faith was in the boys that they wouldn't blow my cover away, because if they did...yikes! My life would become a complete and total living hell, although it kind of already feels like it.
"N-no" Liam stuttered.
That was his first mistake. My parents hate when you stutter. They take it as a sign of disrespect and worst of all, whenever someone stutters when they are answering a question, my parents immediately think they are lying.
As I expected my mother screeched,"You liar!" That is never good.
All I could hear were muffled shouts, booming footsteps, and a TONE of groaning. I had absolutely no clue what was going on. The sounds were making me go absolutely crazy, as I could tell I had no control over whatever was happening. Well, unless I gave myself up to my parents, but that's almost like giving up breathing. That option is therefore closed.
While all of this ruckus was going on I decided that it wasn't in my place to hide cowardly, when these five boys are getting punched and kicked (from what it sounded like) to save my butt.
Therefore, I made the decision of possibly risking my life by going with my parents then causing these young boys so much trouble.
When I had all my thoughts cleared, I crawled out of the back of the closet-like room, and I slipped through the door.
I honestly don't know my way around this house, but by the sound of it, they were downstairs.
I quietly made my way down a hallway, and to the top flight of the stairs. I slowly, yet still quietly, walked down the steps trying my best to avoid any creaks in the floorboards.
After making an exhilarating trip down a flight of stairs, I made my way passed rooms to the hallway that leads to the front door.
There before my young eyes were my parents fighting my five saviors. Apparently, I was still hidden from view, in the shadows, so no one noticed my sudden appearance.
I grabbed a big wooden box off a shelf, even though it was quite heavy. I walked up behind the scene, again, and was horrified to see the position everything was in.
My mom was knocked out on the ground, and my dad was holding a gun to Liam's head. My dad is scary strong and I could tell Liam wasn't going to get out of his grasp anytime soon.
My dad's back was facing me, so he couldn't see the wonderful angle I had. The other four boys were cowering on the other side.
My dad threatened the boys,"If you don't tell me where she is by the time I count to three, I'm shooting him."
I could tell they were about to answer, but they caught sight of me, so they immediately shut their mouths.
My dad counted off...
He was just about to say three, when I knocked him on the head with the big wooden box. In a flash Liam was free, and we were safe for a minute until a big boom was sounded and I was hit with a blast of pain, right into my side.
I felt like I was falling into a pit of darkness, when everything went completely and totally black.
