9. Spiders Aren't Supposed To Wear Latex (Part 1)

After a few minutes they land and the first one to the door is the Doctor. He opens the door before closing it. He turns to look at his passengers and Emma sighs. "I guess I'll open it." Emma opens the door and looks out. They where in an ally way and Emma didn't see anything wrong. She walks out, a tire flying by, barely missing her face. She blinks looking over and seeing a dude in a latex suit swinging by.

"What the hell." Emma walks to the end of the ally, watching as a man swings away. People where running in the opposite direction that the man was swinging and she sighs, "Spider-Man, freaking Spider-man." She mutters, walking back to the TARDIS, "Well, we are in New York." They break into teams, Clara with Holmes and Watson, and Emma with the Doctor.

"Come on." The Doctor leads Emma towards the place everyone was running away from. Emma follows obediently. It didn't take them long to get there and it was also pretty obvious. There was a giant metal rhino thing in the middle of the street and Spidey was swinging around him. Emma sighs and the Doctor grins.

"This is bat-shit crazy." Emma mutters, jumping out of the way of a flying car. She skids across the ground before freezing. The rhino dude had stopped moving and was watching her. She looks up, standing up slowly. Emma begins to backup and the head of the metal rhino comes up, showing a man behind the mask.

"Well, hello there. You look like fun." He grins, holding up his large metal arm and aiming at her.

"F-" Emma starts to run out of the way before Spider-Man swoops from above and picking her up right before an array of bullets hit the spot she was previously at. Spider-man lands, setting Emma down a good ways away.

"Now, stay out of trouble little girl." Spider-Man says, nodding to her. Emma's eyebrow twitches, glaring at him.

"I'm 22, I'm just short." Emma hisses, making Spider-Man turn around to look at her. "Thanks for saving me though." Emma looks over at the Rhino, "I would suggest trying to aim for a open spot in his armor. Maybe in the front, 'cause the back would be more protected due to the spinal cord." Emma motions with her head. Spider-Man stares at her and the fact that she can't tell his expression was beginning to piss her off.

"Whats your IQ? Like 180?" He asks, putting his hands on his hips.

Emma crosses  her arms over her chest and tips her chin up, "I don't know, but I watched a lot of superhero shows as a kid." Which was a lie, she was too busy taking care of her brothers and dealing with her family. Of course, in her world, Spider-Man was just a comic hero so she knows how this will end up.

Spider-Man shrugs before tossing a car at the Rhino. The Rhino blocks the car easily before Spider-Man shoots some web into one of the Rhino's joints, causing his arm to become immobilized. He does the same thing to the other arm, allowing the police to apprehend the Rhino. Spider-Man waves at a little boy and then at Emma before swinging away.

"So then... Gwen Stacy is dead, the green goblin is in jail, Spider-Man is out of his depression some what, and now I have no idea where I am." Emma begins to look around for the Doctor, finding him in a Cafe. She sighs, shaking her head and ordering a latte before sitting down with the Doctor. "I met Spider-Man." Emma sips her latte as the Doctor grins.

"Was he interesting?"

"Naw, not really." Emma, shrugs, "I mean, he shoots webs out of his wrists... How interesting can a guy be if he does that." Emma smirks and the Doctor begins to laugh.

"You're strange." The Doctor grins and Emma rolls her eyes before standing and exiting the Cafe. They wondered around for awhile before heading back to the TARDIS. Emma and the Doctor chat about Spider-Man and the Green Goblin as they walk, completely geeking out.

"I believe at this point Harry Osborn has been arrested and put in a mental institute. Gwen Stacy has died along with uncle Ben..." Emma stops, hearing someone calling out to her. She turns around seeing a nerdy guy running towards her. She watches as he approaches, hair in a tizzy and breath quick. He stands there, acting like he was trying to catch his breath, and as good of an act as it was, even the Doctor knew he was faking it.

Once the guy catches his breath, he looks up and Emma can see his face. Peter Parking. She tries to make it so that she doesn't look surprised, but it slightly shows on her face. The Doctor walks off, leaving her. Emma tries to stop him, but he walked away too quickly. Emma sighs, turning back to Peter, he was smiling. "Hi, sorry to disturb you, but I saw that you where just saved by Spider-Man. I took a picture of it and I was wondering if you would let me send it into a local newspaper to possibly be-" Peter was rambling and Emma was getting annoyed. She cuts him off by holding up her hand.

"Look, I really don't care if you put my picture in the paper. Heck, it may actually help me find the person I'm looking for." Emma looks around, seeing how many people are in ear shot before looking back at Peter, "Listen up Parker, my name's Emmaline Rose. Make sure my name gets out there and if someone wants to find me tell me."

Peter looks surprised, raising an eyebrow he asks, "How do you know my name?"

She shrugs, "I mean, I'm not from around here, but your body type is familiar and I've also heard your name in the news." Emma adjusts her sweater that was covered in dust and needed to be cleaned. "Now, I have to go." She begins to turn around before glancing back at him, "Also... You look good in blue and red latex." She walks away, making Peter stare after her, wondering what the hell is going on.
