I found Kacey's number in my phone. I didn't need it. I pressed the edit button and tapped the trash icon next to her number.
'Are you sure you want to delete this number?'
"I'm sure." I mumbled to myself. I was hiding in a small forest, far enough away from Kacey. I had taken my stuff with me when I left, and I still had to get a ticket back to Ireland.
And in no way would I still stay in contact with the boys. Why should I, knowing that I was kicked out of One Direction in the first place?
"Why aren't you going to MineCon?" Mitch asked, worried.
"This is exactly why I wanted you guys to accept the Skype call. I'm resigning from Team Crafted."
"WHAT?!" All seven boys shouted, literally in my ear. "Kacey, you can't leave!" Jason pleaded.
"Don't you dare, ANY of you, give me puppy dog eyes. This is personal. And you and Adam are involved." Jason and Adam's eyes grew wide. "Adam, are you going to explain, or should I?" Adam stayed silent. "If you do, I am not going to anymore gaming conventions."
"Okay, okay! When you were sick at PAX, I came in to check on you and I saw you and Jason kissing." Jason's cheeks turned red. "And I thought it would be funny if I took a picture and put it on Instagram. What's the big deal?"
"Everything." My voice was hardly audible, even by me. "Everything." I said louder. "You took Niall away from me. He blew up at me and left in the middle of the night. And now I don't know where he is and..." I could feel tears brimming at my eyelids. I clicked the disconnect button and the screen turned black. Out my window, you could see for miles. Niall was out there. Somewhere. I turned on my phone and scrolled to Adam's number. I texted him, saying only four words.
it's all your fault
I threw my phone on my bed and walked downstairs. All the drama, all the heartbreak, all the betrayal...
Harry was the only one in the room. I didn't want to talk with anybody. But he spoke first.
"Louis and Zayn told me what happened. Kacey, I'm sorry." I ignored him. Harry pulled me closer to him and placed my head on his chest. Right now, I just needed somebody's-anybody's-shoulder to cry on. I let it all out, Harry comforting me every second. About a half hour of crying my eyes out, I got tired. "You sleepy?" Harry asked. I nodded. He smiled and hugged me tighter.
