"I told her not to breathe the air."
"It was her first time can you blame her?"
"I suppose not."
"Shh! Let her rest."
"Yes, let niece rest. Very tired."
I heard these voices and wanted to shut them up. I had the weirdest dream, there was a dog, and a fortune teller, and darkness. I opened my eyes and looked around to see I wasn't in my room. I sat up only to hit my head on the bunk above me.
I rubbed my head and laid back down I looked around to see I was in a cabin. Then I remembered it wasn't a dream. I'd been sent to some camp to complete some prophecy to stop some war. Meanwhile my family travels to another camp to help while I'm here by myself. Lovely. I stayed in my bed and looked about at my new surroundings.
The cabin was surprisingly spacious. It has six empty bunk beds (five now) and the walls glowed like abalone.I got up carefully and walked to a fountain in the corner of the cabin. It was beautiful, it looked to be made out of gray sea rock, and there was a fish that swam around occasionally spouting the water from its mouth, and a coral decoration. The bottom was filled with golden coins of some type, I guess for decoration. Above me I saw a few bronze figures that looked like a cross between a horse and a fish, sea horse? (Lol bad pun) . Sitting in the window sill, were unknown plants and corals. The cabin was beautiful inside, I couldn't wait to see the rest of the place. I saw my suitcase lying under my bunk and quickly changed into my boots, jeans, and blue long-sleeve. I still felt really cold after that stupid "shadow travel" I opened the cabin door to see a very tall person in front of it. Actually it was more of someone's legs in front.
"Hello Penelope niece!" the someone said.
"Oh good, you're awake." said a girl in a purple t-shirt.
"Where am I?"
"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! My name's Brynna, this is Tyson-"
"Percy is brother so that ,makes you my niece!" Tyson exclaimed happily.
Tyson bent down and it took everything in me not to scream. He only had one eye! I guess the girl saw my freak out face and quickly said.
"Don't worry, you'll learn a lot here, but you can't make that face some of the creatures won't like it."
"Sorry." I said trying to wrap my head around everything.
"No problem, c'mon time for you to experience camp."
The girl took my arm and led me from the cabin with Tyson bounding along.
