"Zayn, I believe in you."
"No, I don't know if I can do this."
"You can do this. I'll be watching. Now get out there and tell Opal!" I pushed Zayn over to near where Opal was standing with her friends.
"Ooh! I see the hottie wants to talk." Opal said, fluttering her eyelashes. It made me sick. "Does this mean you want to go out, Zayn?" I rolled my eyes. How does Opal and her friends get guys like that? It's repulsive.
"Um, actually, no." Zayn said without hesitation.
"What? Why on earth would you say that, Zayn?" Opal whined, giving him puppy eyes that were obviously fake.
"Because you're always being a bitch to my friends. It's not hot, it's awful. Plus, why do I care about sluts like you and your friends?" Opal's mouth hung open. But Zayn kept going.
That's my sexy baby. I thought.
"Not to mention the fact that you've probably slept with half the school around now. And that doesn't include me or any of the boys and it never will!"
"Why don't you stay out of our business, Zayn?" Hannah stood up.
"How about you do that first." He retorted. "Stay the fuck out of my life from now on, got that?" Zayn walked away, leaving all the girls with their eyes bulging out of their sockets and mouths hung open.
"That...was awesome." We high-fived.
"I know. Come on." Zayn clutched my hand in his and we walked out of the school.
"You remember I still love you, right Lolo?" Zayn's question caught me by surprise.
"I...yeah, of course, why wouldn't I?" I awkwardly laughed.
"I still can't get over how adorable it is when you're caught off guard by something I say." Zayn turned towards me, his warm brown eyes looking into my pale blue ones. "See you tomorrow." He leaned in and closed his eyes. Our lips collided.
He is so sweet... I pulled away and waved goodbye.
