"God, Zayn, you still need to get used to being in Survival Mode." I said, extremely frustrated.
"You were the one to start me out in Creative. It's different now." Silence.
"Um, I hope you guys don't mind, but I accidentally killed a villager." Abigail said into her mic.
"Dammit Abby!" I looked over to where her sword was in hand. "I'm joking. Squidwards are really weird anyway."
"And he had crap deals. Like, who the hell trades ten gravel and an emerald for two flint? He was gonna be a shit salesman if he gets into that business." Abby laughed.
"No, I think he'd fit in just fine with the lot of them." Niall came out from the village house he was staying in.
"Do you think we'll be able to find a Mesa sometime? I mean, the seed maker said that there was a Mesa right after this plain." Abigail checked her phone.
"Is that why we're staying in this village?" Zayn asked.
"Um, yes." I answered Zayn's question like it was obvious.
"Well, why are we staying here then? Shouldn't we get going?"
"We have to get horses first!" Abigail said. "And there's a lot to choose from, apparently." I looked over to where Abby was pointing. All kinds of horse packs, from white, black, chestnut, and even a few donkeys were grazing the block-like ground.
"Oh. But why..." Zayn was cut off by Niall.
"I don't mean to interrupt, but there's a huge-ass ravine over here."
"Really?" Abigail sprinted over to where Niall was. "Damn. You weren't lying. Lolo, Zayn, get over here! I think we're gonna put the Mesa on hold."
"Abigail? Are you still there?" Niall joked.
"Shut up, she's concentrating." I defended my friend.
"Damn right." Abigail's voice was soft. "I've been mining for a half hour and still no diamond." I could tell Abby was frustrated.
"I found a dungeon. It's a...what are those green-skinned monsters?" Zayn asked.
"Zombie dungeon." I answered. "They can seriously hurt you in packs, so be careful!"
"I'll try to." Zayn said, laughing afterwards.
His laugh...why am I so attached to him? I thought. Shut up Lolo, he's your friend. You need to calm down.
"Wait, Abby." Abigail turned her attention to Zayn.
"What is it? I'm kinda busy right now!" I could hear the sounds of an explosion and the banging of someone's hands on a desk. "Dammit Zayn!" Abby put her hand to her face. "I told you I was busy fighting a creeper and you made it explode on me!" Zayn put his hands up in surrender. "I had to get working on my story anyway."
"Wait, lemme talk to you!" Abigail stopped.
"What is it?"
"Um...never mind." Zayn logged off.
"What the hell was that?" Abby asked me.
"I have no idea. What he was going to ask is beyond me." I shrugged.
"Are we at that Mesa yet, girls?" Niall asked. He was still on the surface.
"Um, no." Abigail replied. "We're still underground, if you didn't notice."
"Abigail, are you okay?" Niall sounded concerned.
"Ah...I need to go." Abigail disconnected from the Skype chat and left the game.
"What was that all about?" I asked Niall. He shrugged.
"Abby's a mystery to us all." I nodded.
