Where is Peter? Is he scared of the police or what? He just left me here, for no good reason... And I don't know my way back! Coward!
Police cars zoomed past me and I decided to follow them. The stopped a bank, must have been robbed. I smile when I see Spider-Man enter the scene. He took out the crooks like it was nothing. "Wow..." I said to myself dreamily.
I giggled at the constant puns he made, and the crooks yelling at him. I wanted to get a better view, so I snuck a little closer. Before I knew it, a crook ran towards me, I tried to get away, but he had a strong grip on me and held my hands behind my back. I felt the cold metal of a gun to my head. I was scared, really scared.
"Let her go, Marco!" Spider-Man yelled at him. And for a moment I felt safe, but It wasn't long before I was sucked back into reality.
"Let me go, and I give you the girl, if not, she dies." Marco says.
"Marco, be sensible-"
"No! Let me go and you can have the girl." Marco says stubbornly.
I will not stand for this! I am not a helpless girl that needs help all the time!
I kick my leg back, and kick him in the place no guy wants to be kicked. He drops the gun and bends over in pain. "Agh!" He yells.
I continue kicking him, but he grabs his gun and aims it at me. "No!" Spider-Man yells and pushes me away. The bullet skims his chest and he gasps pain.
Marco aimed for Spider-Man, but Spider-Man somehow senses it and kicks him in the face. There was a sickening crack and I almost threw up. Spider-Man winces in pain, then webs him to the ground. He wearily stands up. I didn't know he had a bullet wound, so I assumed all was done, and started walking down the sidewalk.
"Ahh!" I yell when Spider-Man hangs upside down in front of me. "Oh, hi.."
"Hi.." He says. "You did good back there..."
"Oh," I blush, "thanks, but not as good as you- wait!" I shout. "You got shot!"
"Oh, um, it's nothing," he says.
"No! Come with me, I can help!" I say, scared he might bleed to death.
"Really, im fine," he says, certain that he'll be okay.
"Please," I beg. "Please let me... It's the least I can do, you saved me three times already.."
"Fine," he gives in and jumps down from the webbing he was on. I smile slightly, and grab his hand. "I think I know my way back to the place I'm staying at," I say. "I have a great sense of direction."
He laughs, but winces in pain. I lead him to random places. "Um, I think it's this way..." I say. "My friend, Peter Parker, he showed me around... Oh! There it is!" I say and point to the house. I lead him there and open the front door silently so Aunt May wouldn't notice.
I wonder if Peter is home...?
I quietly sneak him through the house and up the stairs, into my room. I take the plastic off my bed and throw it aside. He sits on the bed and I run to the bathroom and get a first aid kit.
I run back to see him trying to stop the bleeding. I take a wet cloth and start cleaning the blood off. He grimaces in pain. I quickly pull back, "Sorry..." I say apologetically.
"It's fine," he says. I nod and start cleaning it again. After I finish, I wrap bandages around his chest. I finish and clean up the first aid kit.
"Thanks," he says and stands up. I brush the hair out of my face and behind my ear. "No problem, it's the least I can do."
I could feel him smile under his mask, I could feel it.
"Bye," he said and opened my window.
"Wait," I say and stand up. He turns around and looks at me. "Yeah?"
"Can you come back here tomorrow night, meet me on the roof?" I ask.
"Sure," he says climbs onto the window cill. "Thanks again," he says and jumps out. He swings away and I run to the window and watch him leave in awe.
