~2 days later~
Peter and I spent more time together, when we were watching TV, he would pretend to yawn, just so he could put his arm around me. Sometimes I move out of the way and giggle. He would raise an eyebrow, smirking. The he would tackle me and pin my to the couch. I would laugh as he tried to tickle me.
I sigh as I look back at the memories. I was out getting some groceries, I walked down the streets at night until someone grabs me and swoops me up into the air. I almost scream as I throw my arms around the person that just picked me up.
My eyes slowly open and I look up to see Spider-Man. He lands on a tall building and I try to push off of him. He doesn't let go so easily. "Hey," he says.
"Hi," I say, growing frustrated.
"Is something wrong?" He asks as he finally let's me go.
"Yes, you can't just go and pick people up like that!" I say sternly. I couldn't tell the expression under his mask, but I felt he was confused.
"Sorry..." He says rubs the back of his neck. I huff angrily. "Did- did I do something wrong?"
I think about it, then sigh. "I'm sorry, no, I just... Am in a bad mood..."
"Is there anything I can do to-"
"No." I interrupt. "I'm fine." I say. He walks up to me and brushes my hair out of my face and behind my ear. I push his hand away lightly.
"Thank you for saving my life all those times," I say softly. "But I'm in love with someone else."
He seemed to wince and he stepped back a bit. He nods slowly,
"I-I don't even know who you are, all I see is someone hiding behind a mask." I say sadly.
He looks down.
"O-Of course..." He says. "I can take you down now..." His voice seemed to be drained of emotion.
"Okay," I say quietly.
"Hold on tight," he says plainly, not that way he used to say it. I grab on and start to regret what I said. He swings me down in the middle of the street.
"Thanks," I say and turn away, I start to walk back to my house. I didn't look back, it would be too painful. I gave in and turned my head slightly and peeked over my shoulder. He was gone as mysteriously as he appeared. I sigh and turn back and keep walking.
I'm happy with Peter anyways. I finally get home and open the door. Peter was sitting on the couch, sitting forward, his elbows on his legs. He held something in his hands I couldn't quite see.
"Peter?" I ask. He jerks up and quickly shoves it under the couch.
"Hey," he says with a smile and lays on the couch, he put his hands behind his head and crossed one leg over the other.
I roll my eyes a giggle. I see his smile fade to a small frown. "Is something wrong?"
"No," he says and forces a smile.
"Gwen," he said and raised an eyebrow with a smirk on his face. "I'm fine,"
"Are you sure," I ask.
"Yep." He nods.
I nod slowly and walk into my room to change into my pyjamas.
Please comment ideas on how Gwen should find out Peter is Spider-Man! I really need it.... Please?
