10. My Tree By The Meadow
I ran and ran without thinking. I ran until i couldn't find a reason to. I must have gone three miles, and that's where I saw a meadow. And i saw i beautiful and large blossom tree. I climbed to the top. I sat there and stared off into the distance.
I ran down the hall to Matt's room and beat on the door. He didn't answer. I picked the lock and went inside, locking the door to ensure that there would be no evidence of a break in. I slipped into the bathroom and positioned myself to be ready to jump at him anytime. He came in soon enough and i shoved him on the bed. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! Times i hit him. One four every tear i saw run down her face. Now they were marks left on HIS face. He was groaning in pain as i left the room. I went back to her room and she wasn't there. I had to find her. I stuffed her bag full of food and drinks.
As i was running i saw things that she must have done to get back. There were sticks stabbed into the ground. Eventually i heard her singing, an i followed the noise. I saw her sitting in a tree by the meadow. I climbed up silently. I reached the limb below her and accidentally touched her foot.
I was sitting peacefully. And then something touched my foot! I screamed and fell, but the familiar arms caught me. I unclutched my eyes and there was the person i was afraid to see. Afraid to know why he walked out. I couldn't help but hug him. He was my best friend, and even more. My boyfriend. That was so weird to say. That word, even in my mind. But i held him, knowing he was mine. He set me down. He tried to speak, but i set my finger to his lips. I leaned in and kissed him. He held me so close, so tight. I leaned against him and we watched the sun set together without saying a word.
