49. Dumbledores will
The next few weeks were spent getting the burrow prepared for Bill and Fleur's wedding. Fred and Hermione had been spending as much time together and with Lyra as they could. They were cramped in Charlie's old room but at least they were all together. Hermione wouldn't let Fred or Lyra out of her sight. She knew that soon she may have to leave them, but it would be for their own good. Hermione snapped out of her daze to the sound of Lyra giggling as Fred blew raspberries on her belly. "Fred, she just ate. You will make her ill." Hermione chuckled as she climbed over the bed to the changing mat. Fred hugged Hermione close and they sat staring at their beautiful baby girl. Neither of them would let anything happen to her.
"Hermione" shouted Mrs Weasley "The minister of magic is here to speak to you". Fred and Hermione shared a look and she got up and went out on to the landing. Harry and Ron were at the bottom of the stairs beckoning her. She went down the stairs and into the living room.
"I am sorry to disturb you but the contents of Headmaster Albus Dumbledore's will has now been released and I am to give the items to you." Minister Scrimegour stated "To Ronald Billius Weasley I leave my Deluminator and in hope that it will help him find his way in times of darkness." The minister passed the deluminator to Ron and he clicked it a few times and the lights in the room went on and off. It was clear that the minister had expected something further to happen. "Next to Hermione Jean Granger, I leave her my copy of Tales of beedle the bard. In hope that she may find it informative and enriching." Hermione turned the book in her hands trying to figure out why Dumbledore would leave her a children's book. Scrimegour looked at her with his beady eyes but once again when nothing happened he moved on. "To Harry James Potter I leave the snitch he caught in his first Quidditch match." He handed over the snitch with baited breath. Harry's fingers gripped the snitch and held it loosely in his hand. The snitch's wings opened up and fluttered but nothing else happened. The minister gave a sigh and looked down to his hands. He lifted his head and continued "I also leave Harry James Potter the Sword of Gryffindor. However the Sword of Gryffindor is not his to give away so you will not be receiving it." He stated with a stern look on his face. The living room erupted in shouts and swears "That is Harry's it presented itself to him." Hermione bellowed over the two boys. "It doesn't matter anyways the whereabouts of the sword are currently unknown." The minister got up and left promptly.
The wedding was about to start as Hermione took her place at the start of the wedding procession with Lyra in her arms and a small basket with white rose petals. The music started and she walked down the aisle and sprinkled the petals on the floor. She looks up and sees Fred staring at her with a beaming smile on his face. The ceremony was beautiful but Hermione had a bad feeling for the reception.
