"Hey, let me warn you about something..." I told her as we were just a few steps before my House. "I live with 4 of my Lads, so we might be pretty.... Troubling." I finished, looking at her.
"Dude, trouble is my middle name." She scoffed and I just chuckled. "Great to know!" I exclaimed as I burst my door open. Four of the Lads were piled up in the Living Room, watching Television while eating junk food. "What are you doing there?" I asked, looking at them confused as I close the door. "Watching a Movie." Zayn replied, chewing on his Popcorn. All their eyes were glued to the Television.
I narrowed my eyes at them and sat on the vacant seat. "WITHOUT ME?" I shouted and they all just continued their movie. They weren't aware that Ashley was here, so I stood up and walked over to Ashley. "Ahem." I said, clearing my throat. "I have a guest with me." I told them and their head shot up. Niall stopped the Movie and looked at Ashley.
All four of them stood up. "Hello there!" They all said in unison, waving at her with big smiles on their faces. "Sorry we didn't pay attention to you, we didn't realize you were here." Harry quickly apologized and Ashley just smiled.
I smiled at them and said "It's alright, you were busy anyway, I understand.".
"Boys, this is Ashley. Ashley, these are my friends. Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn." Louis introduced us to each other. Harry had the curly hair with Green Eyes. Liam had brown hair. Zayn was the one with Black Hair and remarkable eyes, I've got to admit. Niall resembled Christopher. Blonde Hair and Ocean Blue Eyes.
"So, have you all eaten yet?" Louis asked, breaking the silence. They all nodded. "Haven't you?" Liam asked, referring to us. "Yeah, we had. Anyways, we'll just go up and have a Movie Marathon, is it fine with you?" Louis explained to the boys and all of them frowned unexpectedly.
"But we were expecting her." Niall admitted, looking down. "It's okay, we could chat another time. Deal?" Louis said, looking at all of us. We all nodded. "Sorry if we can't hang out today." I quickly apologized, remembering what Niall had just said about waiting for Me. "Oh no, it's fine." Liam reassured me and they all sat down and watched their movie.
I looked at Louis and he directed me to the Kitchen.
"What are we gonna do here exactly?" I asked and he got a pack of non-microwaved Popcorn. "We'll make Popcorn, of course. We can't watch a movie without Popcorn!" He winked at me and I just smiled.
We finished making our Popcorn and he lead me to his Room. I sat on his soft bed and waited for him to set up his Laptop. "Wanna watch 'Peter Pan' first?" He asked, knowing the answer. "YES. OH YES!" I screamed out and he played in Peter Pan. Well, I loved this Movie. It was the my favorite one!
The both of us were snuggled up to each other... Well, not really cuddling. We were just close to each other, that's all. After the Movie, we have already finished the Popcorn.
I glanced around his room while he was looking for a Good Movie. "Hey, Lou." I called out as something caught my eye. "Hmm?" He said, looking at me. "Isn't that the Photo Album we made when we were kids?" I asked pointing at the big hand-made book on the shelf.
He smiled and grabbed it. "I didn't mean for you to see it, but oh well. Sit." He ordered me to sit on his Bed as he sat down with me.
He flipped through pages, pausing to check the pictures out, and flipping again. I remembered these were one of the things we made before I left. Surprisingly, he still had it! "Remember this?" He asked, pointing towards one picture. "Yeah. It was our first Sleepover when we were around 9 years old. How would I forget?" I said, giggling.
I remembered it clearly. We had made a deal to stay up late and just play. My mom didn't know about it, so we had to be so quiet and we hid under my blanket together so she wouldn't catch us. That's what we thought. She then burst into our door and saw the both of us having a Pillow Fight. Before she even got mad at us, she quickly took a picture of us.
"I've got to admit, I was so scared that time." I admitted, looking at the picture. "Me either." He admitted as well and the both of us laughed. He flipped through a page. "Hey, remember that?" I quickly pointed towards a picture of the both of us. We both looked really untidy that time since we were camping with my Dad. "The time we went camping during Summer." Louis said, as if he remembered it clearly.
The both of us, including my Dad, went camping on a high mountain that day. I remembered the night before, Louis sneaked a lizard under my pillow. I guess you could figure what happened. The lizard went on the top of my Head and I screamed with all my might and I ran out and suddenly fell in the lake. "NOT FUNNY LOU!" I screamed out. I was just 11 years old that time. Louis kept bursting into laughter and I didn't talk to him for the rest of the day. Eventually, he apologized. But I wouldn't forget that.
"I'd never forget that." I said, staring at him. "And I don't think I'd forgive you for that." I added stubbornly. "Sorry." He mumbled, looking down. I petted his hair and smiled. "Just kidding."
I laid down on his bed and he laid down with me. He placed the Photo Album beside us. I stared at the Ceiling and frowned.
"Why the long face?" He asked worriedly. "My Dad." I stated blankly, not glancing at him. "Don't think about him first... Cheer up." He said. "How are you supposed to make me laugh?" I asked, raising my Eyebrows.
"Easy." He said and raised his hands up, as if he's ready to tickle me. "No, no Louis." I said, standing up and backing away from him. Too late, he tickled my sides. I couldn't stop laughing and I fell to the Ground as he kept tickling me. Louis was on top of me, tickling me nonstop.
"Lou...is... Stop!!" I breathed, gasping for breath. He kept laughing but stopped for a while. I slowly stood up and ran away from him. I heard him dash off and he was high on my heel.
God, Louis is near I thought. I ran faster. I looked back, and being the Clumsy Girl I am, I slipped on my back. Louis fell on top of me.
This was an awkward position because I swear, I could feel Louis' breath. Both of our faces were so near, they were only inches apart. I stared into Louis' eyes, filled with shock. My heart was beating rapidly. I bit my lip and said "Uh, Lou... Could you get up?"
Both of our faces were inches away from each other. I stared intently in her eyes. I wanted to lean in... And maybe kiss her.... But no. I couldn't. She had a boyfriend. She can't love me. But I could hear and feel her heartbeat. But, no. This moment had to end. "Uh, Lou... Could you get up?" She asked and I obeyed. Well, so much for false hope.
Louis gave me a hand and lifted me up as he stood up. "Sorry, I have to go. Thanks for the night." I said, as I hugged and kissed his cheek. He nodded with an awkward smile. "Uh... Sure, yeah. Bye." He said.
I ran to the living room before I left and saw the boys. "Bye guys!" I exclaimed waving at them and they all smiled and shouted "Bye Ashley!!" in unison. I quickly opened the door and before I left, Louis called out to me. "Ashley, could we hang out soon?" He asked, with a hopeful look.
"Sure. Text you." I said without looking at him and with that, I heard the door close.
I couldn't help it... I had to leave. I felt something different when the both of us fell, when the both of us played. It was so different. I felt something for Louis. But, I can't accept it, so I just shake that out of my head.
During that moment, I felt like I liked Louis, but I know I don't.
