8. Chapter 7 -A Stroll in the Park-

-Ashley's P.O.V-

We set off to the Food Court after finishing Laser Tag to eat.
Boy, it was unbelievably crowded. Luckily, we got ourselves a table for two in the corner, away from the crowd. I like quiet places sometimes, seems more peaceful and relaxing. But I like partying too.
Now here's something I dislike about Christopher. He doesn't go to parties, but when he does, he transforms into the most retarded person in the whole wide world.
One time, I brought him to a Party and he kept drinking with a bunch of my friends. He was so drunk that he stripped and danced on the Dance Floor. I remembered he kept screaming and the drunk-filled crowd kept cheering for him. Now that was an awfully stupid experience... I don't think he even remembers it.
"Here you go!" Louis came back, holding food from McDonald's. Fries, Cheeseburger without any pickles and Coke Float. Aww, he's the best! They're my Favorite! "Thanks Lou!" I thanked him as soon as I bit my Burger.
"With Pleasure." He said with a posh voice. I let off a giggle. "So, what are we gonna do next?" I asked, taking a bite from my French Fries. "What do you want do?" He asked while his mouth was filled with food. "I figure we could go out and just walk for a while. Or maybe a Movie Night!" I exclaimed excitedly. I really really really love Movie Nights!
I pretty much think you have already found out that I love to have Movie Marathons. Especially with Louis. I haven't had one with him for a long time and I'm not wasting the Opportunity to have it with him.
He paused for a minute to think about it and took his one last bite from Burger. "Let's do both." He finally decided and smiled at me. I nodded and took a bite of my French Fries. Louis ate the other half and let out a laugh.
"I wanted that piece!" I exclaimed in a childish voice. I pouted and crossed my arms, creasing my eyebrows. "You want it back? Here, get it." He sticked out his tongue with bits of the Fries. Gross but hilarious. I slapped him playfully. "Never mind!" I said, finishing my fries.
I caught him take a sip from my Coke Float. I quickly grabbed it and narrowed my eyes at him. "Buy Your Own!" I whined and he sticked his tongue out. "I bought that for you, and this is how you treat me?" He brought his bottom lip out and looked down. I sighed and handed him my Coke Float. "Just drink a bit." I ordered and he smiled and drank it happily.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked as we walked out of the Mall. We have finished our food and decided to get out and go somewhere. "Let's go to the Park. What time is it?" He asked, glancing at my watch. I checked it. "It's 3 o'clock." I announced and looked up at the sky as we started walking.
It was a bright, sunny day. "It would have been a good day to go and have a picnic." I thought aloud. He looked at me and gave me a small smile. "Let's plan to have a picnic one day." He decided looking up to the sky.
"When?" I asked, tilting my Head while looking at him. "Someday. Soon." He reassured me. We arrived to a park. It was beside a beautiful lake and a huge tree.
Then something about this place made me feel... Happy. I remembered this place clearly before I left. This was the park that Louis and I used to go to when we were kids. "Isn't this...?" I stood there, flabbergasted. It was still here?
"It is. Yeah, they said they would remove it and replace it with a building or something, but they decided not to." He explained as he brought me to the swing we used to play in. It was rusty but sturdy. Somehow, I missed this place a lot.
It used to be packed with Kids that we loved to play with. I missed those days. I smiled at Louis. "I missed this park. Thanks for bringing me here." I told him, gazing at the lake. He too was gazing at the lake. "That's why I brought you here." He replied.

-Louis' P.O.V-

I wonder... Does she know? Does she know that I like her? I think she doesn't yet. I can't tell her. She still has a Boyfriend. I don't want ruin her relationship with him, she seemed happy with him. Seeing her happy makes me feel happy. I wanted her to be happy. If she's happy with him, so be it. I sighed.
"What's the matter?" She asked worriedly. "It's nothing. Just thought about something." I lied and stared back at the lake. She laid her head on my Shoulder which gave me butterflies in my Stomach. Sure, I was used to it... But aren't these like those scenes in Movies where something cute happens and a couple live happily ever after in the end?
I shook my head. No Lou I told myself. She's with Christopher, she can't like two guys at once... Well, she could but she's not that type of girl.
"So, Louis... When are we gonna watch a movie?" She asked as she snapped me out of my Thoughts. "Oh, want now? So that we could have more time?" I asked her since she looked at me expecting that we could watch it now.
"OH! YES PLEASE!" She yelled out, jumping up. I chuckled. I could tell she missed watching movies with me. We used to do every Weekend. Just Her and Me. We always had popcorn-I remembered it gets burned sometimes-and we always laid down on my bed, and sometimes we fall asleep at the middle of the movie. Oh, I missed those nights too.
I stood up and grabbed her hand. I held it tightly and we both walked back to My house.
