As we arrived home, Louis and I brought Christopher in and laid him on the couch. Boy, he was drunk. I looked at Louis, he looked quite sad. It seemed like something bothered him.
"What's the matter?" I asked as he sat on the floor. "Nothing... I'm just tired." He answered without even looking at me.
I looked at the clock, it was past 9 o'clock. "Wanna go home?" I asked him, regretting it. "Want me to?" He scoffed and I just nudged him. "How about let's watch a Movie?" Louis suggested.
I pondered about it and nodded.
I know it would be better he'd leave... But what the heck. He's My Best Friend, it's not like something bad will happen, right?
I quickly directed him to my room. "So, it's just the two of you who lives here?" Louis asked quite surprised. "Yeah, why?" I asked him and he just shook his head. He sat on the bed as I got my Laptop and scrolled through My Movie Files.
"Choose one." I told him and he just kept searching.
"Oh! How about this one?" Louis suggested, pointing at something on my Screen. "Flipped? Dude, how many times have we watched this together?" I asked him with my eyebrow raised. "Come on, it's a great movie." He told me and played it.
I have to be honest here, this movie sends me to tears. Hopefully, it won't this time... I don't like it when Louis sees me crying.
Halfway through the movie, Louis and I started to feel more comfortable than we should have. I was laying on his chest, which felt good. Honestly, this movie gives me a warm feeling. I slowly closed my eyes and before I knew it, I fell asleep on Louis' chest.
After the movie ended, I turned to check Ashley. She was sound asleep on my chest. I smiled to myself, she looked so peaceful. And I've gotta admit, she looked cute. I checked the time, it was already quarter to 11. I sighed, realizing that I had to leave just in case Christopher will catch me.
I stroked Ashley's hair, just like how I used to.
Okay, now I don't want to leave. I honestly wanna stay here with her. But, I know, sooner or later, I have to leave. I took a deep breath and I heard footsteps from downstairs.
It's probably Christopher I thought. I shook Ashley's Shoulder ferociously and she woke up immediately. "Lou? Why are you still here?" She asked me with droopy eyes.
I pouted and pretended to cry by sniffing and such. "You don't like me?" I asked with a cracked voice and she shook her head. "No worries, I love you Lou!" She exclaimed with a smile.
Oh boy, that just sent butterflies to my stomach. I mean, how can you not have butterflies in your stomach after she said that. She was looking intently in my eyes... And her eyes were gleaming. Wait a second... This seems do different.
She was still staring at me and I looked at her. Her smile was slowly fading away and I looked at her eyes. Did she mean that... Or what?
Life is unfair in so many ways, and every moment doesn't last forever. The Door slammed open and I saw Christopher, shocked. He looked furious so he grabbed me by the shoulder.
"Hey Chris...." Ashley said with a forced smile. She looked at me with a worried look. "Why are you still here?" Christopher asked me with an annoyed tone. "I was about to leave, no worries." I told him and he let go of me.
I waved a goodbye to Ashley and ran downstairs. I saw Christopher was right behind me. It seemed he wanted to talk. I opened the door and ran out but then he called before I could get in my car.
"Louis." He said with a grim voice. "Yeah?" I called out soothingly. "Don't 'yeah' me. Don't think that I didn't hear that too." He said with a really angry tone. He was holding his anger and I want to see him try to get angry.
I rolled my eyes and looked at him with a smirk. "Of course you heard it, you had ears. Duh." I said plainly and he was clenching his fists. "And I caught you guys. You were about to..." He trailed off and I just gave him a playful smile.
"About to what?" I asked him with an eyebrow raised. "K-Kiss." He sputtered out finally.
I just shrugged. "So what? What are you gonna do about it?" I asked him and he stepped towards me.
"The thing is Louis Tomlinson," He began. "you better stay away from My Girlfriend if you don't want to be brought to the Hospital the next time you hang out with her." He said with a fierce voice. I gave him a laugh.
"Make Me. You see, no matter how many times you'll threaten me. I'll always try my best to get her. Oh, and by the way. I'm not the one who pulls you away from her." I told him before walking away. "She's the one who goes to me." I finished and got in my car.
The way he got angry... The way her voice sounded when she told me that... She meant it? Did she really mean it? Thinking of that gives me Hope. And I have to hold on that last bit of hope... If she really was mine.
