7. Chapter 7

*Liam's POV*

It was about 3:00 in the morning, and the last person from the party had just left. Zayn and his mates left a little while ago, Zayn and Louis had to be at school early. I hated to see Zayn go but at least I had the party to keep me detracted. Now I helped Niall clean up his house. I walked around with a garbage bag picking up any trash, which was mostly a lot of red plastic cups.

"So did you have fun?" Niall asked as he walked into the room. I bent down and picked up a bra that was laying on the floor.

"What the hell is this doing here?" I asked as we started laughing.

"I dunno, some chick must've gotten really wasted if she lost that," Niall laughed. "So did you have fun?" he asked again as he put on a strait face.

"Yea loads of fun," I said.

"Really? Cause after Zayn left you seemed kinda down," Niall said as he came and sat down on the couch. He patted the seat next to him and I sat down. "You like him or something?" he asked. I shook my head. I couldn't possibly say yes. I had known Niall my whole life and I have never told him I was gay. He would total freak out on me.

"No, he's just a good friend," I said as I looked down at my hands.

"You sure it's nothing else? It's ok if there is, I won't get mad or anything," Niall said. Was he reading my mind?

"Nope nothing," I said. Niall stood up and walked over to the front door.

"Well since its getting late I'll give you a ride, I assume you walked?" he asked. I nodded. I ran up to his room and grabbed my hoodie and ran out the door.

A few minutes later Niall pulled up in front of the fire station. I thanked him for the ride and turned to get out but he stopped me.

"You can tell me anything, you know that right?" Niall asked. I nodded and then got out. Niall waved as he drove away and I waved back. I looked down the road. I could see the river from here. It looked lonely and dark. I turned and walked to the side of the station and unlocked a door that led to my flat. I lived in the attic of the fire station. I climbed the stairs and as I opened up the front door I little ball of black and white fur hit me. I knelt down so the husky could lick my face. Then he rolled onto his back and I rubbed his tummy.

"Hey Loki," I said as I stood up to get him a bacon treat. "Were you a good boy?" I asked. Loki barked and I tossed him the treat which he gladly ate. I smiled then headed to the back of my apartment to get ready for bed.
