London Ella Carter
"There it is." I said as Charlotte drove into new driveway.
"Yeah, do you guys like it?" She asked as she unbuckled herself. I nodded with a smile in response. "What do you think, Lettie?" Charlotte asked Scarlett who was peacefully sleeping in her car seat. I chuckled lightly and opened the car door. I got out and stood there taking in our new house.
"Let's go check it out." I said as Charlotte came around holding little Scarlett in her arms. I took the keys from Lottie and ran to the door like a little kid. I arrived to the door and literally jabbed the key into the keyhole. I turned the knob and opened the door, and I was amazed at what I saw.
"Woah..." Said Lottie as she came up behind me. I walked in and was speechless. The living room was a light blue color with black sofas and a glass coffee table. It also had a light blue rug and a big, flat screen that was set above the chimney. The living room was really nice.
Next, was the kitchen. Now, I was really speechless. It was red, with an island and two ovens... It basically had anything you could possibly ask for.
"Well, I'm going to start bringing in the boxes. Do you mind taking Lettie upstairs, or wherever you find a room?" Asked Charlotte.
"Yeah, sure." I answered as I carefully grabbed Scarlett and started to go up the stairs. When I arrived to the top, I looked around then opened the first door on the left.
I walked in. The room was a light pink color with a queen size bed, and matching drawers. The walls had flowers painted on... This is definitely Lettie's room, I thought as I laid her down and covered her with the pink blanket that was on the bed.
I looked around once more and then left. I quietly closed the door and began wandering around. In total, there were 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. 4 bedrooms upstairs along with 4 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom downstairs. We also had 2 storage rooms and finally, a padio out in the backyard. By the time I was done looking around, I decided to go help Charlotte bring the rest of the stuff in.
We finished unloading around 7pm. By that time, Scarlett had woken up from her nap and we were now eating dinner.
"So, is it nice?" Charlotte asked smiling as she set a plate of macaroni and cheese in front of Scarlett who squealed with happiness.
"Yes, definitely!" I responded as she gave me a plate. "Thanks."
"Welcome." She said as she sat down and ate her mac and cheese.
"Mmm, this is good." Scarlett said as she licked her fork. "Can I have some more, please." She asked sticking her plate out.
"Yeah babe, of course." Charlotte responded taking the plate and serving Lettie some more. "There you go."
"Thank you, Lottie!" Scarlett practically yelled as she once again, began to eat. I chuckled and finished up.
"Where's Lettie?" I asked as Lottie came into the living room and laid face down on the couch.
"I. Her. Sleep." Was all I could make out.
"What?" I asked again unsure of what she said.
"I put her to sleep." Lottie responded lifting her head up and turned around so she could stare at the ceiling. We stayed there for a while.
"So how are things with Matthew?" I asked as I looked at her. She smiled and opened her mouth to speak, but soon closed it. I laid on my back and she then responded
"We're doing good." She said as I smiled at the happiness of my sister and her boyfriend.
"Aw, he better be nice to my babe or I'll kick his arse." I said as Lottie started laughing. "I'm not kidding either."
"I know, I know. But yeah, he's being really nice. Taking in everything that's happening with us moving and stuff."
"Yeah. He should come over one day." I suggested.
"What do you think about tomorrow?" She asked.
"If we get up early and unpack... Then yes, he can come over." I said as she agreed.
"Okay, sounds good."
"Yeah, wanna watch some tv?" I asked getting the remote from the coffee table. She nodded and I turned it on. It took us a while to find something that we actually wanted to watch. Finally, we chose to watch some celebrity gossip show.
"So after 4 months, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is still trying to get over 'Elounor'. While in London, he is trying to get his mind off of Eleanor Calder." Says the reporter.
"What? But they were so cute together." Says Charlotte as I scoffed. Yeah, okay I'm a huge Directioner, but when it came to Elounor, I was not a shipper. Something about her just made me not ship them. Zerrie, that I approved.
"We all saw it coming Lottie. And there's something about her that I don't like." I stated as she's laughed.
"You're just saying that because you're jealous that Eleanor was dating Louis, aka your 'hubby'." She said as she turned the tv off and stood up.
"Huh, me jealous? Never." I responded as I also got up and walked up the stairs, with Lottie right behind me.
"Yeah, sure you're not." She said. "Well, get some rest, we have to finish unpacking early in the morning."
"Yeah, well good night." I said as I walked down the hall to the last door on the right. I opened it and went to my closet. Luckily, we finished unpacking our clothes. All we had to do, was unpack the kitchen supplies and stuff. Anyways, I found some shorts and a shirt. I changed into them and went into my bathroom. It was a navy blue color that matched my room, which was a navy blue and white striped color with a white carpet.
I grabbed my toothbrush and started brushing my teeth. When I was done, I put my hair up in a bun and headed off for bed. I got under the covers and laid there thinking off all the good things that's happened to us in the last past 2 years... Before I knew it, I was fast asleep.
