23. Do you want the good or bad news first?
It had been 3 weeks since Meg had told Joe about the problem on her mind. She was sat in the bathroom looking at a sight she didn't want to see until she was at least married and 25. "Meg! Can I come in!" Joe asked. "Yea, come on" Meg shouted back. "So what does it say? Are you?" He questioned. "Look for yourself" she said, handing him the test. "Oh, so I'm gonna be a dad. Great" Joe said, looking shocked at the test. "Not great Joe, my life is now over before its even begun, I didn't want to see this sight for about 5 years!" She yelled. "I'm sorry" he said, watching a tear fall from her eye. "Don't worry about it, I'll be here 24/7" Said Joe, hugging her and comforting her. "I know and I'm sorry but I don't know what to do, how to tell my parents" She cried. "It'll be fine, please stop worrying because it won't do any good for that little thing" Joe said. "We don't have to tell anyone yet, we can keep it secret until we know its lasted 12 weeks, that's what my cousin did" Joe explained. "Thank you, you've been so great so far. Ill think about it, but my careers on the line " Meg said. "I've been there a month and won't be there for my full years time". "We'll sort it, don't worry" he said hugging her and drying her eyes. "It'll be fine"
