Holiday

For Danica's 18th Birthday her parents brought her a ticket to Australia so she could spend it with her best friend, Katelin. Little did she know Katelin had just moved in across the street from the one and only Luke Hemmings. Slight mature content.

6. Like What You See?

“I didn’t think kitchen bitches were allowed to take shots,” Ashton giggled, his dimples prominent.

“Kitchen bitches are allowed to drink whatever they want after being traumatised by Uncle Greg,” I joked as Calum and Michael came into the kitchen carrying boxes of beer, Corona’s, Cruisers and a big bottle of straight vodka.

“The party’s arrived,” Luke sniggered as Calum and Michael put the alcohol on whatever bench space was available.

Calum’s eyes looked between Luke and I repeatedly before he shot Luke a questioning glance and I blushed ducking my head.

“This is Kat; she just moved in across the street with her mum, our mums have some plot to get us to date but I’ve been friend zoned.” Luke explained and Calum nodded in understanding.

Ashton took a step towards me and pulled me into a hug.

“Hi, I’m Ashton,” he smiled, his curly hair quivering with each movement, his tight fitting red shirt showing off his muscles, his blue skinny jeans rolled up at the bottom and his khaki coloured Converse scuffed and worn.

“Kat,” I replied smiling.

Calum looked relaxed in his NASA shirt and a pair of sports shorts with white thongs as he came and hugged me next giving me a kiss on the cheek which I wasn’t expecting so I ruffled his already messy hair. Luke hugged me from behind complaining in my ear about how he didn’t get a hug earlier and then there was Michael.

His hair was a dark chocolaty brown hair that made my heart melt. He had his punk leather jacket over a plain white shirt and his black skinny jeans were tucked into his laced up leather boots. If there was 3 words to describe how Michael Clifford looked they would be; punk, sex and perfection. You could say I have a soft spot for Michael. I always have.

I must have been staring for a while because a hand was being waved in my face. I blinked a few times to see Michael smirking and the boys on the couch engrossed in a game of Fifa.

“Like what you see?” he chuckled.

“I’m in love with your jacket,” I replied moving closer to him so I could run my fingers over the studs on his shoulders, hiding my face from the blush that was forming on my cheeks.

“Swap you my jacket for your shoes?” he suggested raising an eyebrow.

“Sorry but no deal. These shoes are my babies,” I joked.

“That’s understandable, they’re amazing,” he replied admiring my shoes.

“You coming to play Fifa or not?” Luke yelled from the couch.

“As soon as I get my hug,” Michael smirked grabbing me by the waist and pulling me to his chest. His arms went around my waist and mine around his neck. His head rested in the crook of my neck before he cheekily whispered. “I now know where you live in case I need a hug. Don’t mind if I show up at your doorstep tomorrow.”

“I’ll be waiting,” I smirked kissing him on the cheek and heading over to Luke and the boys to play Fifa.
