Scarlett silently tiptoed down stairs. She put a finger to her lips to make sure Harry was quiet too. The twins quietly made their way down to the landing and looked over the railing. They could see the Weasleys, and Hermione checking in. Scarlett's eyes light up so much, Harry was surprised she didn't light up the entire, dim room. Harry saw something in Scarlett's hand, and then he heard familiar voices.
"Get that thing away from him!"
"It's a cat Ronald, what you do expect?"
"A cat? That a fluffy hairball is what that is!"
Harry and Scarlett crept closer to the railing. They could see Ron and Hermione fighting again, each holding an animal in their arms. Ron was holding his pet rat Scabbers. The rat had apparently been in the family for years before Ron got him. Hermione was holding what indeed looked like a massive orange fur-ball, cat thing. Harry saw Scarlett out of the corner of his eye. She was putting her hand over her mouth to stop from laughing. Silently he pointed to the stairs and she nodded in agreement. The twins got up and made their way towards Ron and Hermione. The two were so immersed in their argument they didn't even notice the twins.
"You know the Egyptians used to worship cats!" Hermione was saying.
"Yeah, along with the dung beetle- Harry!" Mid sentence Ron finally noticed Harry and Scarlett.
Hermione turned around as well, "Scarlett!"
"Hey, don't mind us, please keep arguing, it's so entertaining." Harry replied as his sister rolled her eyes.
"Can I see it?" She asked. Hermione nodded, showing her the ginger cat.
"His name's Crookshanks." Hermione told her.
"Oh my God!" Scarlett exclaimed, "Its bloody ADORABLE!!"
Ron rolled his eyes.
"It's just a pig with hair!" He groaned.
"That's rich, coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush!" Hermione spat back.
"NO!!" Harry whipped around to see Scarlett being dragged away by the Weasley twins.
"Get off me you big oafs!" Scarlett yelled.
"As come on Scarlett, don't be such a sour puss!" Fred complained.
"Get off!" Scarlett replied. The twins sighed as they let go of Scarlett.
"Thank you!" She sighed, "Why do you both continue to torment me?"
"You're like the sister we never had!" George answered.
"So Ginny is what? A cousin?" Scarlett asked
Fred waved that aside, "Ah, Ginny's old news. She's learned all our tricks. You on the other hand, are easy to play with."
"Yes, well so are you." Scarlett replied, smirking.
"Pfft. Yeah right!" George snickered.
"Fred, George, come here so we can tell you where your room is!" Mrs. Weasley called.
"Okay mum!" They said in unison. The tried to step buy their feet wouldn't move. They both looked at Scarlett. She smiled, that mischievous look of her father gleamed in her eyes.
"Curse you Potter!" George said.
"Same to you!" She replied happily.
Harry looked at the floor. There, was an empty bottle of Glue Potion, the thing Scarlett was holding.
"Fred! George!" Mrs. Weasley called.
"Mum, Scarlett glued our feet to the floor!" Fred yelled.
Scarlett moved over by Harry, Ron and Hermione, put on her best innocent face, and opened her mouth to say something but Mrs. Weasley talk first.
FRED! DO NOT BLAME SCARLETT FOR THINGS THAT YOU DID TO YOURSELF!!"
Scarlett immediately ran away so Mrs. Weasley couldn't see her face. Harry, Ron and Hermione ran after her to the back of the Leaky Cauldron. Scarlett was bend over laughing hysterically.
"Scarlett, you could get in serious trouble for that!" Hermione whispered.
Scarlett looked up at Hermione and replied through her laughter, "You can only get in trouble if you get caught." Then she burst into giggles again.
"Scarlett?" Ginny called.
"GINNY!" Scarlett and Hermione screamed happily. They ran over and hugged Ginny.
Mr and Mrs Weasley said hello to the twins, then both scurried all of the children to bed. Hermione's room was right next to Scarlett's and (lucky) the Weasley Twins had no clue where that was, so no revenge could be made. Just the normal reunion for the twins.
