The Reason Sirius Doesn't Love Anymore

FINISHED: Belief was born into a wizard family as their only child. When she turns five she walks in on her parents' murder. She loses faith in everything but what she knows to be reality. When she is sent to Hogwarts all she excepts is the reality she has known all of her life.

2. Sorting Things Out

Belief's POV

"We are ready to start the Sorting Ceremony, follow me." Professor McGonagall said leading us into the Great Hall

As I stepped into the Great Hall, I noticed all the beauty around me.  I looked up at the magicked ceiling.  I turned my head and saw the snobbish Slytherins.  I looked forward once more and saw Albus Dumbledore, our headmaster.

"Welcome first years! We are ready to begin the Sorting Ceremony." He smiled at the crowd of first years that I was in

"When your name is called you will come up here where I will place the Sorting Hat on your head.  Then the hat will call out a house and you will go to the respective table." Professor McGonagall explained

She started reading off names.  I paid attention to know who was in Slytherin.  Then it was Lily's turn.  She walked up to Professor McGonagall who put the Sorting Hat on Lily's head.

"GRIFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat hollered

Next James Potter.

Then Sirius.

Next Peter.

Now Severus.

I saw Lily gasp and James grinned as big as I think he could.

"Belief Wakefield," Professor McGonagall called

I walked up and Professor McGonagall placed the Sorting Hat on my head.

"GRIFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat shouted

I went over to the table where Lily was sitting and sat down by myself.  Lily went to sit next to me.  I sighed as Professor Dumbledore started the meal.  Lily talked to me while I just sat there and stuffed my face while I could.

"Follow your prefects to the dormitories!" Professor Dumbledore dismissed

We stood up and followed the boy and girl who were wearing red and gold.  They walked us to the entrance where they showed us the password to the room.  We walked into the common room and waited for instruction.

"Girls' dormitories are this way and the boys' is over there." One of the prefects said

We listened obediently as we were tired by this time.  Lily followed right behind me.  I sighed, I would not be able to escape her.  I would have to learn to deal with it.  We reached one of the rooms.

"Belief, do you want to share a room with me?" Lily asked

"Sure, why not?" I sighed nodding

"Okay," Lily perked up

Soon we were settled in and I went straight to sleep.  I was extremely tired.
