"Well, there seems to be some improvement in your right eye," The doctor says, looking it over. I hear the flipping of pages, and a phone number being dialed. "Sir?" I ask, wondering what is he doing. "I'm calling another doctor," He answers. Leah comes barrelling in the door when the appointment lasts longer than it is supposed to. It has never lasted this long- usually It only takes a few minutes.
Leah puts her hand on my shoulder, and I hear the doctor leave the room, babbling to the person on the other end of the phone. "What is going on?" Leah asks, and I shrug. "Something about my right eye," I say, "It's getting better," I whisper back.
Leah and Louis leave to go to Louis' doctor appointment when I see Harry approaching the door. He has gifts in his hands- flowers, chocolate. I open the door. "What do you want, Styles?" I hiss. He looks at me with sad eyes. "Was that Leah who just left?" He asks, and I become softer with him, seeing the pain on his face. "Yeah, it was," I say, and Harry's face just looks more disappointed. "I need to speak to her," He mumbles, and I want to slap him back to reality. "You don't need to ruin her life any more than you already have styles," I spit, but he takes a step back and sighs. "What I said wasn't true," He says. "Let me explain, please," He begs, and I nod, letting him inside. I shut the door, but I have the strangest feeling we are being watched.
I sit down in their motel room and Zayn serves me a drink. "Boys, could you keep it down," Zayn yells, and I can hear them playing with Noah. Liam comes running out with Noah but freezes when he sees me. "Harry?" He asks. I nod. "Yup, that's my name, don't wear it out," I smile, but he shakes his head and runs back into the room, Noah following.
Zayn sits across from me. "So? What are you so desperate to explain?" Zayn asks. "I love Leah," I blurt. Zayn looks surprised. "Why would you lie to her? Why would you say all that stuff to her then?" Zayn asks. "I was only saving her life," I say.
