I'm so nervous today! Will she like my parents? Will my parents hate her? Will my parents embarrass me? Wait, answer to the last question is yes. Of course they will! God, will she like me after? Stop asking questions!! Just hope that she will like my parents. She will be here in an hour, so I think it's time to get ready. I wore a red t-shirt with a red snapback and black jeans, since it is winter. I went downstairs and saw my parents setting the table all ready for Kellie. My dad was wearing a black polo shirt with denim jeans. My brother was wearing a white t-shirt with a black blazer and blue denim jeans. My mother was wearing a beautiful dress. It was a blue silky dress that drops to below the knees.
"Hey, ma, pa, and Greg." I greeted.
"Hi, Niall." they replied back. I looked to the clock and saw that she will arrive anytime soon.
10 minutes later
The doorbell rung. I opened the door to see a beautiful girl in a very pretty dress. Kellie. She wore a pink strapless high low dress with a jean jacket over it, paired with brown heels, a brown- chocolate like purse. Her hair was curled. Her make up was natural, mascara and pink lipgloss ( am I spelling that right?) and earrings, a necklace. and a ring to top off the dress.
"Hey, now who's the one staring now? Who?" she wriggled her eyes at me.
"Haha, Kellie. Come in." I said. I moved outta the way to let her in. She walked in and waited for me. I closed the door and led her to my family, which were now in the living room.
"Hey, ma, pa, and Greg? This is Kellie. My beautiful princess Kellie." I introduced her.
"Hello, Kellie. Pleasure to meet you, finally. I'm Bobby, Niall's dad." my father introduced himself.
"Hello, Mr. Horan." Kellie said.
"Please, call me Bobby." he said.
"Hi, I'm Maura. Niall's mum." mum said.
"Hello, Mrs. Horan." Kellie said.
"Please, call me Maura." mum said.
"Hello, Ms. I'm Greg, Niall's brother."
"Hello." Kellie said. Greg took her hand and kissed the back of her hand. Kellie looked to me and gave me a confused look. Shit, I forgot that I told my family that Kellie's family was proper. When my mum excused herself to the kitchen and my father excused himself to the loo and my brother to his room to get something, I decided to tell Kellie.
"Kellie, I told my family that you're proper." I confessed.
"Oh. Tell them I''m not. My family is nothing close to that." she demanded calmly. I love that she doesn't go all demanding harshly.
"I will." I informed her. We went to the dinning room when everyone was back from their stuff ey had to do. Dinner included steak with garden salad.
Kellie told them about her past, excluding her abusive parents, my family loved her. I told her that my parents were divorced, and that they joined together just to meet her. Great thing, my parents didn't embarrass me! After Kellie left, I made the confession.
"Kellie isn't actually formal. She comes from a family like us." I told them.
"We know. She told us when you were in the loo." mum said. (Or whatever the bathroom is called in Ireland).
Should I continue?
I'm not from Ireland or England so I don't know many words they use there so I may use american words.
