It's a date
It's been two days now and he hasn't texted or called. I should just give up, Natalie, give up! It's not like I ever had a chance. Niall was a huge star and I was just this girl from nowhere in particular. I grew up always moving around. My dad owned a huge company and was always working. I was always very spoiled. My mum was a slut always sleeping with other guys and getting caught by the nanny, who got fired the next day. My parents spent heaps of money on me to make up for the times they had just abandoned me. Three years ago when I turned 16 I flew to England with some money I got from selling some stuff and I left my old life behind- even the money. But anyway I've gone off track, Niall. I met him two days ago.
I walked out of work, the smell of pizza stuck to my clothes. I exited the building the back way into an alleyway full of graffiti. My hair was in a neat bun for work and my black polo had the pizza place's logo on it. I was walking to the street, about halfway through the alleyway when a blonde boy ran into it puffing like a train. At first I didn't realise who it was but I didn't have time to think about it because a herd of about 20 teenage girls ran passed. I stopped in my tracks when he looked up at me. It was Niall Horan from ONE DIRECTION. I opened my mouth to scream but no sound came out. I was numb. He was standing right in front of me. All of those fantasies were coming true. I closed my eyes and pinched my forearm. When I opened them again Niall was standing up right in front of me. His blue eyes staring into my boring brown ones.
"Hello" his Irish accent rang through my ears. This was really happening.
"Hi" I croaked out just managing the word. He smiled at my voice and turned around to the street. He popped his head out of the alley checking to see if the coast was clear.
"Wait" my voice was stronger but very desperate. "Here" I fished through my bag and handed him my sunnies and my beanie. Then I grabbed the jacket that was hanging over my bag and handed it to him. He took them thankfully and turned back to the street.
"Niall, do you want a lift?" I asked hopefully. I had calmed down a bit and my voice was back to normal but my heart was still beating like a drum.
"Follow me, it's the black one." I lead him out onto the street and I looked surprisingly normal considering I was leading Niall Horan to my car.
"Here it is" I unlocked the car. Niall opened the passenger door and hopped in. I got in as well and buckled myself in.
"Buckle up." I turned to Niall and he didn't have a seatbelt on. I sat my drivers test 3 times so I wanted to be safe. I turned the car on and heard the click noise indicating that he had buckled his seatbelt.
"Where are we going?"
"Shires street" I knew where that was, thank god. How embarrassing would it have been if I didn't. I pulled out of the car park and started towards our destination. It wasn't far so I had to make the most of my time. I spoke about me mostly, and he seemed to enjoy our conversation, but time flew by too fast and we arrived at Shires street all too soon. That's when Niall asked me something unexpected.
"Would you like to go out sometime?" OH MY GOD. Did Niall Horan just ask me out?
"Like a date?" I choked out
"You probably already have a boyfriend, anyway."
"No I don't, but that sounds like fun." I smiled and Niall's eyes lit up. We exchanged numbers and that was the end of my experience with Niall Horan.
I got up out of bed, I should have a shower. I walked into the bathroom bare footed, the cold tiles making my feet icy. I undressed while heating the water up. When I hopped in my feet burned from the sudden temperature change. I pumped some soap onto my sponge and lathered my body. I rinsed off the suds and stood in the shower for a few minutes. I thought about my old life. About how if I was still living there I would have met One Direction ages ago, because my dad would have gotten me tickets and flew me over to meet them personally. I did miss having money sometimes but money has it's downfalls. Such as working, you had to work damn had for money which means not a lot of time to yourself. I knew Niall had money and that he worked very hard for it. I knew Niall would leave for months at a time and I would be left alone. I knew he wasn't always going to be there for me. That's assuming that we last and I have never had a serious relationship before so I'm not too sure about that.
I got out of the shower And dried myself off. Then I wrapped the towel around my body and walked into my bedroom. I put a cream knitted jumper on over some kaki coloured leggings. I grabbed my black tote bag and my phone and walked out of the house.

Down the street, at the cafe that had free wifi, I searched through my phone for something to do. I had not given up on Niall, we had a great conversation in that car and he asked me out. I thought to myself about all the other boyfriends I had had in the past. All the losers I had hooked up with to get to my parents so they would notice me. It never worked and they would just buy me another horse or necklace or dress. I hated how they did that. They never cared enough to tuck me in at night but they bought me all this useless stuff that I didn't need. I took a sip of my huge coffee and looked back down at my phone. Scrolling to Niall's name I clicked it and held the phone up to my ear. I took another sip of my coffee and then someone answered the phone.
"Hello?" His voice was groggy. He must have just woken up
"Hey it's Nat, from the other day?"
"Oh, hi." Not as enthusiastic as I hoped but I told myself to stay positive.
"What's up?" He asked me, his voice returning to normal.
"I wanted to take you up on the date you offered the other day." I said confidently.
"Sure, what do you want to do?" He asked I heard a rustling sound in the background.
"How about we go get some frozen yogurt and then we could maybe go see a movie?" I asked hopefully.
"How about dinner?"
"Sounds great, meet you at chopsticks at 6:30"
"How about I pick you up, I owe you a lift." I smiled and nodded forgetting that I was on the phone.
"Sure I will text you the address."
"What are you up to anyway?"
-2 hours later-
"Oh my god, Niall I have to go we've been talking on the phone for two hours!" Where did the time go. It was a little past 2 o'clock.
"Oh, yea. Bye." He said a little disappointed
"Talk later, don't forget- pick me up at 6 o'clock"
(A/n: ok guys how was that? Too short? I dunno, was it any good?)
